people are finally coming out and speaking the truth. This thing is about go public in a big way, it is bursting at the seams.

You simply can't decieve the American people forever about something this serious, soon you will hear the real 911 story.

 

If it was such a huge truth bursting at the seams to come forward ALL the major news networks couldnt hold it back. That alone shows it isnt as big as you claim it to be.

Sir, I'm not sure what you are attempting to do, but it's evident that you aren't having much success. You might do well to listen to yourself for once, and give it a rest. Why should I believe a woman running for a Congressional seat as a Republican in a very heavily Democratic state who has neither any political experience nor any military experience and is a current student who received a degree in politics from Australia? With no offense to her or any of her supporters, should they be on here, how would she have access to such "guarded" information and not Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Arlen Specter, John McCain, or any number of more powerful, more influential, and more visible people with a heck of a lot more "access" than she?

I think that this woman's statements are in serious question, and are naught more than a ploy to get her noticed by media and thus get her name out to her district's voters. Take her statements with a very large grain (better make it a cube) of salt.

I did as you requested and looked at the sites you posted. Very interesting and it's amazing how they came up with this stuff with no more than what they had to go on. Now that is some investigating. Wish the local police could do as well with as little information as they had.

Ran across this one name you used as an authority; Judy Wood, PhD a prof of Mechanical Engineering. My uncle who is a licensed engineer said she is one of the book worms that has never been the field and knows only what she has read. I guess that means no actual experience in the field. It also lists her as being a member of the "Democtatic Underground" what ever that is. Have you any idea what they are talking about. They say this is where the majority of her work is accomplished.

Ive also ran across the name Don 'four feathers' Jacobs who is somewhere in Arizona at a school there. He and Russel Means were the ones who led a revolt against the U.S. Governmen way back in the 90, or so I'm told. Dont think I would put too much stock into what this guy would say.

All in all very pleasant reading. I got a good laugh or two thinking about how they would probably make a movie out of it an use the proceeds to build up the Democratic party befor the election.

Excuse me sir, I never meant to impugn your knowledge of the event and I'm not saying anything is incorrect. I was simply trying to understand what exactly happened or didn't happen on 9/11. I'm sure you have done extensive research on the subject and was just wondering why you felt the need to use all these other (questionable) authorities? If it were me and I had enough expeirence, you can bet I would be the one wanting to have the credit for revealing such things and not give it to someone else.
I have no idea what course of study I will eventually follow, as I"m taking a wide veriety of material which will be of use no matter which field I finally land in. Actually the area of genetics sounds quite interesting, if you have the time to study and try and keep up with the fast advancing science. Hey, maybe one day I can tell you why you do the things you do and then explain why you are either having success or failure. Wouldn't that be handy? thank for the information you have privided. I find it interesting.

Gentlemen (and ladies who may be lurking), I am going to put an end this INSANE assertion by our village idiot who has the mindset of a three-year-old screaming his argument from the middle of Toys-R-Us. Face it, you can either deal with an idiot who uses the "because" argument, or you can formulate your own opinion based on what YOU saw and the thousands of hard physical evidence pertaining to September 11th, 2001.

Remember this also...9/11 was a huge day for islamic jihadists, but sadly...it is just one day in their constant state of JIHAD as evidenced by the 1000's of islamic terror attacks since 9/11! But, I guess all those are part of the same INSANE conspiracy that our village idiot preaches.

Others have done the same for more nefarious reasons. Some, accustomed to viewing U.S. actions as the wellspring of global problems, cannot accept that others wrought evil here. Political extremists peddle explanations that support their ideologies. And still others deliberately fabricate damaging tales.

This conspiracy-mongering is no small phenomenon. Any Internet search will turn up thousands of explanations for the events of September 11.These theories come in nearly infinite variety, but all reach essentially the same conclusion: that the U.S. government, or some shadowy group that controls it, organized the attacks as part of a master plan for global domination. But the truth is more mundane. The philosopher Hannah Arendt described the banality of Nazi evil; the 9/11 hijackers were also ordinary, uninteresting men with twisted beliefs.

In the immediate aftermath of their attacks, all of us had questions. Why didn't we have better intelligence? How could our airport security be so poor? Why weren't we better prepared? Who carried out these attacks, and why? All good questions, and thousands of dedicated Americans, both in and out of government, have worked hard to answer them. Journalists, the 9/11 Commission, Congressional investigators, academic researchers, and others have reconstructed these terrible events in extraordinary detail. Much of what we have learned has been frustrating, even infuriating. Anger can be healthy when it spurs a commitment to change. Blaming some conspiracy within our government for the horrific attacks of September 11 mars the memories of all those lost on that day. For their service--for their lives--we are indebted, and we are obliged to pay our debts to those who sacrificed. To blame not a gang of islamic terrorists but some conspiracy for September 11 insults the police officers and firefighters who raced into the burning towers; the men and women who left for dangerous, distant lands to fight our enemies; and those who have fought in all the wars of our history.

Any explanation for the tragedy of September 11 must start and end with the facts. The evidence, the data, the facts must be gathered, compiled, analyzed, and then--only then--can conclusions be drawn as to what happened. That is precisely what the various investigators have done, and in so doing they have performed a great service to our nation. And yet still the conspiracy theorists (like our village idiiot) peddle their wares.

They ignore the methods of science, the protocols of investigation, and the dictates of logic. The conspiracy theorists chase (like our village idiot) any bit of information, no matter how flimsy, and use it to fit their preordained conclusions. They ascribe to the government, or to some secretive group, powers wholly out of proportion to what the evidence suggests. And they ignore the facts that are present in plain sight.

We cannot let these tales go unanswered. The 9/11 conspiracy movement exploits the public's anger and sadness. It shakes Americans' faith in their government at a time when that faith is already near an all-time low. It traffics in ugly, unfounded accusations of extraordinary evil against fellow Americans. And, as we have seen recently in the Iranian president's bizarre letter to President Bush, it has even entered the currency of international affairs.

The conspiracy theories are a distraction from the proper lessons of 9/11, from what is truly important to this country. And so it is imperative to confront them with the facts. The authors of this book, through their extensive reporting, disprove these tales of conspiracy. They show that, without exception, the stories are based on misconceptions, distortions, and outright lies. The CIA was not involved in 9/11. Our military did not bring about the destruction of the World Trade Center. Bombs or missiles did not fell the towers. A white jet aircraft did not shoot down Flight 93.

I hesitate to even post on this one, so I'll try to be clear. I have no idea what the truth is about 911. I'm not an engineer either. But I'm also not so headstrong in my beliefs about how I want things to be to examine alternatives. I'm inclined to believe the government explanation because it rings true, but I don't mind listening to alternative explanations. If they are wrong, they should be refuted based on science, not who can yell the loudest. So this is my layman's understanding about some of the points made by "conspiracy theorists."

First, I've read that from an engineering and scientific standpoint, it is impossible for a building to pancake into it's own footprint at free-fall speed without the use of demolition explosives. Even a moderately tall building will either fall at a slower speed or tip over. The WTC towers are both said to have fallen at speeds close to free-fall into their own footprint, which I've read is physically impossible. One or both should have toppled over sideways after the collapse reached below the burning floors and fire-weakened supports. I can't verify this but it's interesting if true.

Second, I've read but haven't confirmed that the BBC has found 6 of the 911 hijackers alive in their home countries. I don't know if that is true either.

Third, I've read that various engineers and university professors have blown a lot of holes in the Popluar Mechanics article. Not being an engineer, I don't know who is correct.

Fourth, a lot of experts are said to be terrified of commenting on the 911 attacks for fear of ridicule and damage to their careers. A couple of the 911 Commission members are said to be admitting now that the military lied to them about several important facts.

I'd like to hear more facts discussed in the media and less retoric about patriotism vs terrorism, but I don't think the networks have the people on staff who are educated enough to do that, and audiences would probably click to another channel if someone bored them with an engineering discussion, which is obviously bad for ratings. All information is tainted with partisan politics now, even when it is true. So how can the average person know what's right? I don't know the answer to that.
