Whole lotta nothing for me...

 

I should have 600$ or so coming my way nearing the end of the *Economic Stimulation* period. My last 2 of my social is 95, while my wife's is 96, so basically we get the crap end of it.

 

Is this a rebate or is it an advance on next years tax return?
I have heard it both ways. Some say it's a loans that we will repay next year at tax time. Some say it's a stipend. Which is it?

 

Everything I've read and heard says it's "free" money. Doesn't count against next year's taxes.

Of course, "free" money isn't free, it will increase the deficit.
