Again, I don't have an issue with good people arming themselves, but as I mentioned to Stujoe...bad people also have access to guns...and there ain't @#$% we can do about it.

I haven't. I have my own view, which is that guns allow someone to kill people in a moment of anger (or passion, if you prefer) where they otherwise wouldn't have without the gun.

That people understand that.

Not much more than that, except for continued monitoring of hate groups likely to use weapons to commit mass murder. Individuals willing to do so are nearly impossible to detect, even to family members, so there isn't anything that can really be done except to make sure people with legitimate mental health issues can't buy firearms, which is already done, right? At least in legitimate gun markets.

So you see, I'm not supporting Joe's arguments on this issue. I'm satisfied that what can be done is more or less already being done.
