If "mischaracterizing" statements actually bothered YOU, you probably wouldn't do it so often. Live by the sword, die by the sword as they say.
I never said I took a gun to my daughter's golf games (we call them matches, by the way). I said I carried a gun when we travelled. Now, you have accused me of mischaracterizing something you once said. The difference is you clearly stated that you allowed your young teen to date an adult.
Well, thanks for proving you mischaracterized what I said...you saved me the trouble. Sorry, I can't return the courtesy because you did say you allowed your young teen to date an adult!
Bless your heart! I appreciate you are willing to fall on a sword when lil joe moen commands but you should research a bit more thoroughly before running through that brick wall for him. Do you ever wonder why he doesn't respond to some things himself?
Well, let's look again. You say you don't bring guns to golf matches, that you only bring them while traveling, in case a wlld animal...what?...attempts to hijack your vehicle? OK. I'll have to assume you are either so fearful of wild animals hijacking your car or you're afraid to admit something to Joe. Either way, you appear to be ruled by fear. So which is it? Is it the fear of wild animals or the fear of admitting something to Joe? What I really want you to do is ululate. Maybe then people will see you as I see you, as an extremist.
Still carrying lil joe's water I see. Bless your heart. Do yourself a favor & actually read what I posted instead of just posting what you're told to post...if you do this you won't come across as such a _________ (you can fill in the blank).
I have a friend who has a friend (more of an acquaintance of mine) who has fallen upon tough times and has been living under a bridge. Recently, he said he turned around and confronted a mountain lion which had snuck up on him. Luckily there was a large tree stump between him and the mountain lion. He said the mountain lion growled and bared its fangs. The guy also had a pistol his brother had given him for protection. The mountain lion was coming over the stump when the guy fired and, he thinks, struck the mountain lion in the shoulder. The mountain lion didn't stick around for round 2. I don't know if the story is true because I don't know the guy living under the bridge. And, as with any story, there's some exaggeration and "fact enhancing" with each repetition. I wouldn't doubt it, though because I've seen a few mountain lions roaming around here. The ones I've seen are about the size of a small Shetland pony and I have no doubt they could kill a man or at least inflict serious bodily harm. My acquaintance friend said the guy is now in a homeless shelter (which can sometimes be more dangerous than confronting a mountain lion). The point is, there certainly are wild and dangerous animals roaming near us. The more we encroach on their natural habitat, the more likely we will be to encounter them. I don't think it's unlikely at all to encounter a mountain lion, bear, wolf, etc. depending on where you live in the country.
The moral of the story is that everyone should carry a gun just in case a mountain lion attacks. Geeesh!
Now that lil joe moen knows I carry a gun (in the event of wild animals) when I'm on the farm & I carry a gun when travelling through towns & cities which I'm not familiar with....can you please tell us, lil joe, what you meant when you connected support of the 2nd amendment with an unstable personality? Please don't send iqless in again, he can't handle it & don't forget that clembo also owns a gun for personal protection.
Then don't forget that I don't disapprove of you carrying a gun. And you can beg better than that, little one.
I understand that, that's why you weren't able to defend what lil joe moen said. He simply had you be, well, you and go off on a tangent trying to distarct from the issue at hand. Do you think it's "mentally unstable" to support the 2nd amendment? Do ya?
Going back to your fear issues... ...you must also fear people telling you what to think, what to say. Otherwise you wouldn't be so quick to accuse your opponents of being susceptible to such control. So tell me David, do you fear people telling you what to say? Or is it something else...maybe the fear of being manipulated? ...of not being in control of your own actions? C'mon David, take a look at the hole you're in and tell me more about your fears and anxieties.
I believe the "fear" issue is one created by lil joe moen & advanced by who? The answer is you. He says fear is what motivates folks to support the 2nd amendment... you support the 2nd amendment yet you continue to carry lil joe's water by advancing the fear argument. Now, do you see why so many here refer to you as his lapdog?
Oh, little one, your fear is palpable...and has the distinct after-taste of self-loathing. Not that you'd admit it, of course, that would show weakness, but it's there, bellowing about the things you think and say to others, and your constant ignoring of it. It would be better for your health if you accepted that there are some things Democrat that are not worth arguing pointlessly about, and that there are some things Republican that are vile. Food for thought, little one. The choice is, of course, yours to make. Now gimme some lovin', big guy! C'mon! How 'bout a hug? You know you want it!
Now didn't BO's lousy performance Wednesday night teach you anything? Constantly repeating a lie doesn't make it so!
