Maybe the Right-wing meme that lied about Obama skipping nonexistent meetings should be mentioned? Certainly, neither you nor anyone else can say whether the way Obama gets his information in one manner or the other is any better or worse than anything else.

Marc Thiessen basically lied about Obama missing these nonexistent meetings and the idiots in the Right-wing bubble simply parrot the lies even after they have been exposed as lies. It doesn't even slow them down or cause them to pause and ask themselves what the truth might be and whether they may have been lied to. What kind of ideological morons keep pushing a known lies in spite of looking like complete ideologues and fools? Answer: Republicans.

 

I really do not care if he did or did not attend the meetings that were or were not scheduled. The results are still there for the public and the world to see.

 

Maybe BO should play "Opposite Day" one of these days. You know, whatever pops into his mind, he should just do the opposite. Could work.

 

Maybe the Republican message should be changed. I suggest "What would McCain do?"

 

I prefer "What would Kerry do?"

 

Anything is better than "what would Obama do?"

As the days drag on, we continue to hear little pieces of what really happened in Benghazi on September 11th and what is really happening in the Middle East. Now sources are saying that, despite initial claims by the Obama administration, there weren’t any “spontaneous” protests outside of the US embassy in Benghazi. In other words, there was no outcry over a movie, as the administration would like you to believe. It means that the attack and subsequent killing of four Americans, including the US ambassador, was planned in advance and the whole anti-Islamic movie bit was a excuse, not a reason.

 

Reports are beginning to indicate that what you're saying is absolutely correct, JTH. The American people should realize that this was a pre-planned act of terrorism committed on American soil against Americans. Neither Obama nor Hillary Clinton kept the Americans in the consulate safe from the attack. Considering the terrorist activity in the months leading up to the consulate attack in Benghazi, our leadership should have done much, much more to secure the safety of our Ambassador and his aides. I'm truly sickened by the lack of leadership shown by Obama and Hillary Clinton. Nothing will bring back our dead fellow Americans and I hope more and more people begin to realize their deaths could possibly have been avoided.

Top administration official says strike in Libya was 'terrorist attack'​

A top Obama administration official called last week's deadly assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya a "terrorist attack" for the first time -- a statement that publicly casts doubt on administration claims it was a "spontaneous" act.​

"Yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said during a Senate hearing Wednesday.​

​

Olsen echoed administration colleagues in saying U.S. officials have no specific intelligence about "significant advanced planning or coordination" for the attack.​

​

However, his statement goes beyond White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, saying the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate was spontaneous. He is the first top administration official to call the strike an act of terrorism.​

​

Olson, repeating Wednesday that the FBI is handling the Benghazi investigation, also acknowledged the attack could lead back to Al Qaeda and its affiliates. ​
