I read this answer as even you cannot twist you original words to make it look like I in any way, shape, or form "bastardized" what you have written; Just like Obama, put up a smoke screen and hope they miss the facts.
I couldn't care less if you answer or not. I learned a long time ago that you twist and turn. Your opinions and comments are worthless.
You ask me about my personal life. You haven't earned a response from me when your question is about my personal life. That you ask in such a nasty way is secondary, but it is also a strong indication of why you haven't earned an answer in the first place. If I were to ask you personal questions, you'd have a better understanding of what that means. Chances are you just enjoy being nasty though, and I'm not interested enough in you to ask such personal questions, so...(shrugs)...this is all rather pointless.
...(twisting tie-wire on loaf of bread, see's he has interrupted)...Hmm? ...Oh, yeah... see that ...(points to quote above)... is a perfect example of what the problem is, see it? No? ...(shrugs)...Oh well.
I asked you nothing about you personal life. You accused me of bastardizing your words. You know. The ones you posted publicly on this forum. All I have asked is just what or how you have accused me of bastardizing. I posted your exact words for you just in case you forgot. All you have managed to do since is put up a big smoke screen. Now, I wonder what you next screen is going to be.
Personally, I think I would be more offended if you claimed to respect me. Your twisted little world view is rather odd so to not have your respect is validation enough for me!
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. How do you think the Right-wingers here regard this holiday? Obviously their political party of choice holds it in low regard.
I enjoyed a very nice Labor Day. It was fun and the weather here was beautiful. I hope you had a nice day, too. I appreciate Labor Day because it allows us the opportunity to reflect on the people who actually keep the country running: the workers, those who employ them and those who use the products/services. It also allows us to think about how badly the Labor Unions are destroying our economic system and that, without their socialistic influence, our economy would flow just that much smoother.
What do you think they are going to change Labor Day's name to when the majority of Americans are earning their livelihood from the government's dole in stead of laboring for a living?
You remind me of the guy who loves Christmas but hates Santa Claus. A real exercise in intellectual contortionism.
I think the trend is in the other direction. And besides, working for the government is just as valid of a job as working for private employers any day. View attachment 557
I am glad to see you saying most government employees don't earn their keep; However, what you missed were the 50% who get welfare, unemployment, disability, food stamps, section 8, medicaid, social security, plus whatever else I missed
You said, and I quote, "earned their livelihood". Now last time I looked up the word "earned" it meant "worked for". So do you want to retroactively change your original post... again?
