31 symbolic votes to repeal any law is ridicules but leave it to the "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs" Republican controlled U.S. House to waste time with symbolic votes, pass more anti-abortion legislation than at any other time in history, and nothing to put people back to work. The most dysfunctional U.S. House in the history of this country is presided over by the most dysfunctional U.S. House Speaker in history. And the Right complains about Pelosi when she was actually able to produce legislation while Boehner can't even keep his own caucus in line. And just for the record, Nancy Pelosi passed a health care overhaul bill that no president or congress since Teddy Roosevelt’s time had been able to accomplish. Whether you agree with the health care law or not, Boehner has done nothing that even comes close to such a feat in the other direction. Face it! Boehner sucks at his job and all you guys have is deriding his predecessor who actually accomplished something. That’s pretty pathetic on your part.

Adolf Hitler was also quite successful in what he intended to accomplish in his country. I suppose its how you look at the accomplishments of an individual as to whether or not you consider them "successful". I wouldn't consider Nancy Pelosi's ramming a a socialistic healthcare bill down a reluctant country's throat through bribery and back-room deals as "successful".

P.S. Go ahead and start bashing me since I brought up the "Nazi analogy". Godwin's Law and all that crap....

Also, it's certainly not a "symbolic vote". It's the real deal. Let's see if the Senate has the nads to repeal it also (yeah, as if that's going to happen. It won't - too many socialist/democrats in the Senate). But, I applaud the House for doing this. It's a step in the right direction.

Reid does not have the "nads" to do anything of the kind. The House has sent him unpteen bills that he just ignores because he is afraid the truth might escape his control.

In the OP, the poster lauds Pelsoi for accomplishing something no president or Congress has accomplished since Roosevelt. The only "accomplishment" from Pelosi & Obamacare was in being able to bribe thse final few democrat hold-outs by exempting their constituency. Remember that one? Folks in Louisiana & Nebraska are exempted from the clutches of Obamacare the same as unions, people in Pelosi's district & people in Anthony's Weiner's district....exemptions granted in exchange for advocating Obamacare for everybody else!

You're so dumb it's almost criminal. You hear a talking point and keep believing it long after it has been proven to be false. That's what makes you a Right-wing nutjob.

You know, I just get tired of dealing with the idiots that come to this forum.

...so a bribe is only a bribe if the funds change hands? I was always under the assumption that the simple act of the offer constituted the crime. Isn't it wonderful to be living in a liberal-run society where the line between right & wrong is so ambiguious?

That line is far from ambiguous. If a liberal does it, it is right and if anyone else does it it is wrong. How much clearer can you draw the line?

The House has PASSED 29 jobs bills that stall in the Senate. Sounds like the House is doing the peoples work while the Senate and the Dims are doing Soro's work.

Disappointed here Jack. I expect this from others and it's why I rarely comment.

I was glad to see you jump back in but now I wonder.

Dissapointed over what? My use of the word Dims? Ok, I'll walk it back to Dems. Who's work are the Democrats doing?

I am not going to research links for your entertainment Mr Nation. Some here have more time than I have. The amount of bills stopped in the Senate in the last 2 years is the most in history.
Hell, Not even your messias budgets passed the Senate let alone a jobs bill.

Absolutely Jack. The use of the word Dims.

Some use that "word" as a "clever, insult" that shows me their total lack of actual thinking at times.
I think you're above that hence my comment.

As for who's work are the Democrats doing? - probably not that much different than the Republicans.

Politicians suck as a group basically. You're smart enough to know this.

I've never seen you attack the liberals for the use of the word "Cons" (for Republicans). Or did I just miss it? If so, I apologize.

You are correct. I have NEVER attacked the liberals for the use of the word "Cons" (for Republican).

Now since I made my original statement to Jack why don't you let him answer?
I questioned his use of the "word" Dims because I have a great deal of respect for Jack. Clever words like Dims is not his usual style.

Now could you cite examples where I've really "attacked" anyone?
