I guarantee that the reason of all these terrorist acts is corruption and not religion. in Syria the same family is ruling the country for more than 40 years with an iron fest, in Nigeria, a country rich with oil, you still have many many poor people. eliminate corruption an discrimination and all of these issues will go away.
Yes, corruption always comes into play for that is part of the human condition but it is about religious domination. According to Islam there can only be one religion and all others will have to convert or die. Just for the record I am a Shiite Muslim living in the middle east, and I have read the Koran. All of these bits of news that you provided are terrorist acts. actually we believe that Islam is the only correct religion, the same way goes for Jews, Christians, etc, and even atheists, this is normal. The difference is how we live with the others, does Islam order us to kill people of other religions, absolutely not!, we can not even kill a cat or a bird without a reason. about the different sects in Islam, it is the same with Christians, Jews, etc, again this is normal, and again the only reason that different sects may have some issues is because of corruption and personal interests of few people, see the situation in Syria; Alwaits are killing Sunnis, not because of religion, but because of politics, same thing in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Bahrain etc. Some people will do anything to stay in power, and some will do any thing to get power.

First let me say that I hope that I read your post as saying that you are against killing based upon religion. That is how I view my religion. It is my belief everyone has the right to pursue their own beliefs (or not to believe at all if they so choose) and it's nobody's business. What do you believe will be the fate of non-Muslims?
Andy: There are more than 1.6 Billion Muslims in the world, you can not take the actions of few thousand terrorist and generalize it on the remaining 1.6 billion. All the remaining Muslims are against killing innocent people. From an Islamic point of view, even if you are at war and your enemy surrenders you can not harm them. As for the fully Islamic state, it is not going to happen, Saudi Arabia is not fully Islamic, Iran is not fully Islamic, it just does not work these days, even if it happens these terrorists will kill Shiite Muslims first because they view us as worst than non Muslims. As for Christians, they can not be harmed, the most that they can do from a correct Islamic point of view is make them pay a special TAX and allow them to live normally, but again these are extremist terrorists I do not think that that will happen. a side note: ok the oil is in the north, are people in the north getting the same "cut" of oil money as the south, they are not according to a program I heard on the BBC few days back.

First, only God can judge peoples actions, it is not up to us humans to do so, what I believe is not relevant because we could never know what happens to any person after he / she dies. Secondly, for you as a christian [not a person, but generally Christian], do you follow the teachings of Christianity, no sex before marriage etc. If you follow the teachings of your religion then that is good, "excuse the analogy" if not then you will have a difficult time explaining to God why you are not doing so. Again the Islamic point of view is Abrahamic religions are good because basically we worship the same God and have many thing in common, especially with Jews, then comes having no religion which is not very good, the worst would be worshiping any thing other than God which is Bad. now who goes to hell is decided by God only and not by us humans. However, I do not hear the muslim community speaking out against the killing of Christians in Nigeria, Egypt, Indonsia, the Sudan, etc...(which to be fair to you is done my sunni)I do hear about the funding of terrorist groups from mosques in this nation to Saudi Arabia telethons. (again Sunni)I have seen Egytian cartoons encouraging the killing of jews.(Sunni] I am not anti-muslim. I have shared military experiences with Circassians and Druze and have had friends from Iran here in the US. ABC Basically if the Muslims do not stop thinking it is ok to kill jews in Israel, to kill christians in Nigeria, to kill any non-muslims in the Sudan, to kill jews in France, to say it is ok to rape non-muslim woman in Sweden, etc.. then there is no hope for the world. As I said, Israel is special case, but even then it is not OK to kill Jews in Israel, if the said Jew is in the Israeli armed forces it is a different story. As I said before killing innocent people is not allowed in Islam and is punishable by death, the punishment for Rape is death, etc etc. where do you get your information from?
