Mike Coffman Republican of Colorado Busted!!!

"What I'll say back home in my district, ah..ah... please don't quote me on. Another Republican national laughingstock.

 

Hooray for this guy. He gets rounded up in the street by that reporter, but keeps his cool and keeps his wits about him, speaks frankly and directly and stays on his message.

 

A reporter confronts a representative of the people on a public street and asks him to clarify some remarks that he recently and very publicly made concerning the president of the US and all he can do is in effect plead the 5th. And a Repig predictably applauds this as staying on message. The message here is that elected Repig representatives are under no obligation to explain or defend their remarks about the president or anyone else for that matter and that anyone who questions them on this is being intrusive and out of line. Thank you, Coin, for showing us in microcosm the kind of society you and your kind want to live in.

 

Why should the representative "clarify" anything? He said what he did and when asked about the remarks he gave an answer. No problem. It's not like he's saying something like, "Well, it depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is..." or something just as evasive. Hypocrite.

 

Exactly the point that goes right over their deer in headlights approach to everything. Whatever is said in defense of their narrative, no matter how absurd, they defend it tooth and nail because they can never, never admit one of their is a complete and total loser. This guy couldn't be more of a pussy and a joke and they defend him anyway. They get the politicians they deserve and they deserve this guy. I ask myself how exactly people like them can exist without just forgetting to breathe one day and drop over dead but I never seem to get an answer just more proof that brain matter isn't always a given.

 

Well I can understand why he wouldn't want to talk about it in front of an audience other than those ignorent knuckle-dragging RW idiots among his constituency, but that's still hardly a good excuse if you consider yourself a servant of the people. Works fine if you're a corporate Bagger whore though. As Coffman demonstrates, you need to be just bright enough to remember your lines.

 

From a report I saw, even the audience was sort of shocked by what he said and the smattering of people that applauded did so during a Coffman created pause in order to get applause. They sort of looked around and each other before a few of them applauded politely. So even the people in the room were smarter than the RW'er we have here.
