Since I have been back, only a week or so, I have been browsing a few threads.
I see most hardcore party liners are just that, party liners. The Repos ignore anything bad about their party as well as the Democrats. The Democrats see nothing good in the Republicans and vice-versa.

Dont you folks ever just step back, ignore party affiliations and judge your politicians by their actions?

I got so fed up with the Republicans I quit the party and went Indy. What a breath of fresh air. I am still as conservative as ever, but the likes of Boehner and Reid make me gag.

All I see here is fighting and talking points. The intellectual discussion that was always here is gone. Bummer.
The only one here I think is the opposite of me is Clembo, a liberal at heart, but he has a talent of seeing from the clear unclouded air of party affiliation, never insults anyone, but remains liberal.

Sounds like the same conversation we are having nationally. Or should I say not having?

 

This is the way America is in 2012. Conflict, no compromise, and total disdain for the other side. This has been too long in coming. We should have gotten our differences out in the open a long time ago. Finally a little honesty regarding the way we really feel about each other.

 

IMO, anything that is not 100%+ against BO is in some way partially for him. And I am not sure that we will survive his first term in office let alone a second term. No, the Republicans are not perfect, but they are many times better than this BS. In fact they are infinitely better. Anything divided by zero in infinite.

 

I hate obama.
I am bored with Romney.
I do not see much of a difference between either party right now and wonder who is really running this nation.
