Apparently the flea baggers have amped up their violent tendencies & turned their attention to the city of Chicago with threats of taking their mob mentality to the dimocrat convention in Charlotte.

Why is BO so unwilling to condemn these violent acts?

Well, let's see. It's probably one of three reasons:

    1. He agrees with them.
    2. He's a warmonger (e.g., Libya) and sees violence as a means to an end.
    3. He's a Democrat.

More importantly, he is running for reelection. He wants to offend no one!

Hahah, this commentator has it pegged perfectly (especially the last sentence):

Jay Carney Latest Awkward Podium Moment

COMMENTARY | President Barack Obama's press secretary Jay Carney has one of the toughest jobs in America -- defending the failures of the current administration. It is no wonder Carney often stutters and side-steps straightforward questions during press briefings.

When asked if President Obama's opinion of the far-left Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement had "soured" earlier this week, Carney's awkward silence was deafening, according to press conference excerpts republished on Michelle Malkin's website. The less-than-articulate response offered by Carney as he attempted to backpedal support for the socialist-leaning group was very entertaining to watch.
President Obama's ability to appease his extremely progressive base may be thwarted as the irrational antics of the group continue throughout the election season. It should not be difficult to outshine the stammering and long pauses of former press secretary Robert Gibbs, yet Carney has not been able to surpass the low bar set by his predecessor. Either President Obama cannot find adequate help or the seemingly skilled speakers just cannot find the right words to defend President Obama's policies and comments.
The OWS press conference question stemmed from a recent NATO protest in Chicago where at least 45 organization members were arrested, according to Politico. Four law enforcement officers were injured during the incident, one was even stabbed in the leg. Denouncing violence and vandalism at OWS protests should not be a difficult statement for President Obama or his press secretary to utter. It is unlikely if the destruction caused during protests was done at the hands of conservative Americans the Obama administration would hesitate to respond. Tea party gatherings are orderly and do not promote vandalism or attacks on police officers.
Carney's time at the podium is almost as entertaining as watching Joe Biden attempt to complete and entire thought without creating a national uproar. Being the voice of the Obama administration must be a very tedious task. It is surprising that Carney does not succumb to an anxiety attack every time he leans forward towards the microphone. The sheer number of questions reporters could as about failed Obama policies and broken campaign promises must be overwhelming for the press secretary. Such an overwhelming sense of dread would surely take its toll on anyone.
Fortunately for the beleaguered Carney, the American voters will eliminate the need for an Obama administration press secretary in November.

I feel sorry for Carney, really. Can you imagine having to go in front of a room full of inquisitive reporters & have to defend what BO has done? For BO it's easy. He steps in front of the teleprompter & reads with no threat of anyone asking questions, but Carney? The guys has the hardest job in America.
