1. Why is it that someone can be suspended by the NFL for doing drugs when those drugs may be less severe then the pain killers and performance medication that the team doctors prescribe. 2. Why is it that the NFL gives an IQ test to players for a sport that may damage their brain. 3. Why is it that eveyones religion is right and everyones else is stupid or worse. 4. Why is it that people who do not believe in anything make it a point to attact those who do. 5. Why is it that those who attack religion as a control when in power kill as many people possible to have absolute power. 6. Why is it that everytime I put on the news I either hear gossip, weather, an animal story, something tied into sex or people yelling at each other or just the tv camera. 7. Why do republicans and democrats actually thing that their party's establishment is actually different from each other. 8. Why is it that people building a fish tank, give out parking tickers, or tow away cars is actually tv programing. 9. Why is it that I feel the worlds power elite is like the NFL and is trying to make us all brain dead.

Because the NFL is all about equity. Like handicappers in a horse race, whose ideal it would be for all horses to cross the finish line at the same time, the NFL wants every team to have an equal chance to win every game, at least as far as "chance" is under their control. 2. Why is it that the NFL gives an IQ test to players for a sport that may damage their brain. Two parts to this one: a) most of the players who get IQ tests are in leadership positions, like quarterbacks. The Wonderlic test is more than "just" indicative of intelligence, however. Me, I prefer looking at combine scores and game film. b) They need a baseline. I think they feel that if the players' brains slosh around in their heads a bit more than they hope, they'll have something to help them figure out how bad the damage is. Interesting trivia . . . the 20-pound "shock absorber" helmet they wear today actually protects the players *less* than those worn by Joe Namath and his contemporaries. 3. Those Eastern faiths that predate Christianity? They're just heathens who "don't count." (Please tell me you know that I'm just kidding, right?) 4. After all, believing in something means taking responsibility for your actions and using guidelines other than, "if it feels good and doesn't hurt someone, it must be okay." 5. Because you watch the wrong channels. There is always the Food Network. Oh, and channel 31 has Supernatural, which is about angels, demons, and two monster-hunting brothers. Good times. 7.
