To borrow a phrase from you weirdos, and "twist" it a bit (you odd fellows should surely appreciate the gesture): "Anything is better than allowing the right to win!" :p

When is the left gong to realize obama is not one of them he is only using them to help destory this nation from within.

Obama ends March with 10x more cash than Romney
President Obama's re-election campaign had 10 times more money in the bank at the end of March than the campaign of presumptive GOP Mitt Romney, according to federal records.
Obama For America, the president's re-election account, ended last month with about $104 million in cash on hand; Romney, by contrast, reported having just over $10 million in cash on hand at the end of March.

Oh yeah, the Manchurian candidate conspiracy theory. I guess since he didn't do it in his first term as the Right-wingnuts predicted, it only proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is definitely going to do it if re-elected. Gotcha! No you really can't fix stupid but duct tape muffles the noise nicely.

Duct tape is ok, but it deteriorates too quick for my taste. I use electrical tape instead, it lasts longer in the weather and, like properly applied duct tape, the spittle doesn't affect it. And it's cheaper.

This nation is getting weaker by the second if you have not realize the national debt crisis, the dismantling of various military defensive systems, the outsourcing of military technology, the handing over of space technology first to the Chinese under Clinton and now to the Russians with out funding under Obama. Mind you, I feel the Bushes were a disaster as well for this nation so don't try to pin wall me as a rightwing Republican reactionary for I am not. But if anyone still thinks that our nation is ahead of Saudi Arabia or China never mind others regarding sphere of influence they would be truly blind to what has gone on since Ronald was President and we were still thee World Power.

I really have no idea how "we are weaker" in any specific way. It just sounds like you are listening to more non-specific fear mongering from the usual RW sources. They can never really say specifically how we are weaker, just that we are and we should be afraid. I just don't buy into that kind of nonsense and neither should you. I can't stop you from falling for that kind of tripe obviously but I can ask that you think it through a little better before you become a surrogate fear mongerer. Do you really think we are weaker today in any real way than we have been in the recent past? Gimme a break. We are spending more on "defense" than ever before. We can still destroy the entire world 6 or 8 times over. We still spend more on "defense" than the next 10 countries combined. We are no longer fighting and wasting resources in Iraq. Osama bin Laden is dead. Kaddafi is dead and gone. Drone attacks have decimated the Al Qaeda's leadership. We have far better relationships with our allies and are far more respected in the world than under George Bush and the Neocons. The Arab spring has routed and continues to route middle east dictators. And given all this, you choose to believe the RW agenda driven fear mongering idiots. Andy, really? You really believe in the nonspecific fear mongering?

Do you my friend actually think we have more respect in the world. Lets take a peak at Asia where the majority of the world's population lives. No one in Asia cares about US copyright laws or is scared of US import sanctions for we are viewed as being corrupt and weak with no honor. But thats just the tip of the iceberg. Do you know anyone who has been to China recently. They have no respect for us at all. They look down at us because of our debt to them and laugh at us on how easy it is to buy our technology. If you think the United States has not lost influence in Asia then you did not notice that the Taiwanese who no longer feel protected by the USA have given part ownership of their major industrial/technology assests to the PLA generals which now have extensive commercial enterprise holdings in Tawain and is in their best interests as of now not to invade. Have you ever read Jane's Fighting Ships because if you did you would see a mini arms race in Asia has been going on for ten years now for once again those nations feel that they can no longer count on the US Fleet and are trying to make some sort of deterent against China and have discussed protection treaties to bulk themselves up as a group and look more up to Vietnam who repelled an invading Chinese army with punishing results. I could go on but I think you are blinded by your religion which is the political party you attached yourself to and listen to the leftwing preachers as sermons. Now if that makes you happy fine but do not think it is near the truth for they are just fairy tale stories to make you feel good about your attachment to them and to keep people from knowing the truth. For the record there are a lot of people out there whom are not particulary attached to any political party and do not listen other then with casual curiousity to the talking mouths of the radio or tv and I count myself as one of them.

As for the arab spring, it is just the saudi foreign policy of sphere of sunni fundamentalism with all ties to mecca and Riyadh. It is an anti-west and zero tolerance within Saudi Sunni Islamic doctrine. Thank goodness the Egytian Miltary is still in control and trying to ride out the storm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Kaddafi actually became an ally of the west in his later days and was trying to establish his sons as respected partners to Europe in terms of business and anti terrorism. But he went against the saudis and paid the price with the west being used as Riyadh's mercenaries. Not right wing talk for McCain was running around supporting miltary action but then McCain, once noble and true hero, sold out a long time ago himself. Which is an interesting conversation in itself. Now I doubt if many actually read this entire post which is why I tend to post mindless pictures lately.

Really Andy? We are less respected? Let's see, what would be an objective measure of that respect? Oh yeah, this would be...

Majority of Americans Say World Leaders Respect Obama
Republicans about half as likely now as they were in 2009 to say leaders respect Obama
    by Frank Newport
PRINCETON, NJ -- Although a majority of Americans (52%) continue to say foreign leaders respect President Barack Obama, this is down from 2010 and 2009. However, Obama's current position on this measure is more positive than was the case during most of the terms of Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

    View attachment 419
In February 2009, shortly after Obama's presidential inauguration, a soaring 67% of Americans perceived that the world's leaders respected him. That dropped to 56% last February, and is slightly lower (52%) in this year's Feb. 2-5 Gallup World Affairs survey.
Still, Obama's readings on this measure remain historically high.

Um so according to your post you are basing as fact a poll that has Americans saying that people in other nations respect Obama. Does anyone else see whats wrong with this picture?

How else do you think they are either going to respect our country or not respect it? They only have our leaders as a reference point. What did you think America's respect was based on? Our television shows?

Take a look at the respect George Bush garnered. If the rest of the world doesn't respect our president, they certainly don't respect us. Again, Obama's readings on this measure remain historically high.

This really flies in the face of your opinions on the subject wouldn't you say.

You have some interesting points, and I know you addressed that to that new guy here, but I differ in my conclusions somewhat and want attempt to explain where and why.
Yes, I do believe so, but that respect is more for Obama than America in general. This is particularly, or specifically, true in Europe's case, they were quite tired of Bush Jr.'s aggressiveness in the affairs of other countries, especially Iraq.

It may also be somewhat true with the peoples in the African nations that have received American support during their revolts against their governments ...and/or they may respect America's discipline in not invading their countries during those revolts...at least it may be true that more of the people there like America under Obama than before Obama.

I'm not a big fan of copyright laws myself, but I also don't like countries like China getting away with stealing American's designs and products. I don't like that they then manufacture cheaper versions of those products. I don't like that America allows those products to be sold here, at a much cheaper price than the original products designed and manufactured here. A large part of the blame is on America's corporations though, as well as America's politics. Together those two make up the bulk of what's wrong with our trade practices with China.

I'd agree that China has little respect for America, except maybe culturally. In government and business, they surely see America as idiots. I know I do. We allow them to take our designs, our products, and our jobs... all so we can help large corporations like Wally World continue to increase their profits. Again, I blame our government and big business though, I can't blame China for taking advantage of our weaknesses in politics and business strategies.

I'll have to look more into that.

I love Jane's Fighting Ships! And yes, the arms race concerns me. The South China Sea (SCS) is quickly becoming a major issue, and a flashpoint for aggressions. China wants absolute control over it, as a shipping lane essentially (but not exclusively), citing their shipping port interests West of India... as well as America's example in the Carribean. Their argument is that America does the same thing there and shouldn't interfere in China's claims in the SCS.

Not commenting much on the new guy, but I think he's a bit more central, or at least central-potential, than you give him credit here. That said, yeah... I prefer a certain amount of detachment from party politics in people.

Sunni and Shite beliefs are regionally influenced. By that I mean to say that, while the Saudis have a certain amount of influence on those who call themselves Sunni, the truth is that influence is somewhat limited.

Sunni and Shite beliefs are not any more universal than Christianity is. In fact, Sunni and Shite beliefs are pretty damn similar to each other in my view, differing in only a few modest ways.

Any religion's beliefs are governed by regional interpretations that differ, usually only in small ways, to the "main" religion, in this case I'll call the Saudi's version the "main" one, for simplicity's sake. The effect is that any influence the Saudis attempt to impose on those regions is questioned, and resented. That isn't to say the Saudis are without significant influence though, only that their influence isn't as strong as you give them credit for, at least religion-wise. But, that's just my opinion lol

Here Andy. This speaks directly to the U.S. standing by geographical region and if you follow the timelines, they are significantly higher under Obama, meaning that even if they are not as high as they have been under Obama earlier, they are still Waaaaaaaay higher than they were under Bush. So our standing in the world is clearly much better today than it was under the last administration, ergo your statement is completely false and just more RW nonsense.

Well I don't think that China respects the intellectual property of any country never mind that of the US nor for that matter do many of the so called developing world.
As for ships China has been building more for years, this is nothing new but how does it compare to the size of the US Navy?
