Hey Right-Wing extremists, now that Romney is the only guy left standing, every one of your criticisms of Obama will have to be weighed against Willard Mitt Romney. You now have no choice but to get behind good old Mittens. This is going to be fun. Enjoy your stuffed suit, starched collar, flip-flopping, awkward commenting, out of touch, Wall Street puppet persona you have earned. ROMNEY! ROMNEY! ROMNEY! I wonder what his handlers will tell him to do next? I bet we watch him take a long slow glide toward the political middle while he tries to make us forget everything he has said over the last several months. It’s too bad flip-flopping isn’t an Olympic event this year. I think that we have found the world champion in Mittens. View attachment 405
So it is the Morman against the Muslim. It will come down in history, that is if Romney wins and then there will be a continued American history, as The M&M Presidential Election
A Morman? Whatever. I never really thought about their religions when I posted this thread and I certainly never considered lying about either of their religious beliefs. I am, however, always amazed that RW'ers complain that Obama sat in a Christian church for years listening to Jeremiah Wright and then turn around and say that he is a Muslim. Which way is it? You really can't have it both ways.
I think the question you should be asking is by whose definition is Mitt Romney a Christian? Evangelicals? I don't think so. Trinity United Church of Christ is a predominantly African-American church with more than 8,500 members, located on the southwest side of Chicago. It is the largest church affiliated with the United Church of Christ, a predominantly white Christian denomination with roots in Congregationalism, which branched from American Puritanism. According to Bruce McConkie, a general authority of the LDS Church, "Mormonism is indistinguishable from Christianity." In many ways, however, the religion differs from orthodoxy as held by Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant Christianity. To those for whom Christianity is defined by that orthodoxy, Mormonism's differences place it outside the umbrella of Christianity altogether.
By whose definition is he not? Yours? Who are you to decide? Christians have never agreed on who is one and who isn't one. Are you one? If so, who decided you were?
"shouldn't" would be the operative word here. Unfortunately the fact is that one's religion or lack thereof matters a great deal in this country.
Don't ask me. I didn't bring up religion. That was Andy and once I responded to him, rlm continued the religious nonsense. Ask them. Now if you want to know who brought up the Olympics, that was me.
I only responded to your interjection. I brought nothing new to the conversation. As for which Christians, the one you don't know.
I couldn't care less if Osama is a Muslim just like I couldn't care less if Romney is a Mormon. I'm only concerned about their politics (of which I absolutely can't stand Obama's).
Fla. Evangelicals: Mormons Not Christian but Romney Is OK http://www.christianpost.com/news/fla-evangelicals-mormons-not-christian-but-romney-is-ok-68332/
Maybe Moen is correct and Barak Hussein Obama is not Muslim, after all that is what he is saying below.
Wow! And I was only responding to your response. So? And how many Christians don't you know? I will bet the majority of them agree with my opinion
So all you need is a photo-shopped picture as proof that the guy in the Oval Office is actually a Muslim? Well, I can't argue with a someone who has standards of proof that rank that high.
Three to five pages. That's my guess at how long the righties here will go before tiring themselves out. It takes a lot of energy to evade, so sooner or later they will tire out lol The righties are not ready to say Romney is their candidate. It's not just because of their unreal ability to deny the thruth though. In this instance, I do believe some of them are actually choking at the thought that Romney is their candidate... ...Rrrrroooooommmmmneeeeeyyyyy!!! LOL
I'll repeat what I've said numerous times here.... Romney isn't my first choice but if I have to choose between Romney & BO, it's no-brainer. Now what were you saying?
