Liberal talk shows

Anyone ever wonder why liberal talk shows have never really been able to take off? May it is speeches like this that turn people off from their oratory.

 

The American left today is like Stalinism. If they had any more power they would be killing people like me and you for posting as we do.

 

The only thing in that guy's comments that made any sense whatsoever is when he kept repeating, "I don't know". That sums up just about every liberal in America.

 

Liberal "news" outlets don't do well because most people aren't stupid enough to believe their message. If people don't watch the garbage, the networks don't attract advertisers & without advertisers there isn't enough money to pay the bills. One needs look no further than the 2 most prominent attempts to spread the far left's bs- Air America didn't last, MSNBC is subsidized by it's mother network (and GE).
Basically, there just isn't a sustainable market for the leftwing garbage because most people are willing to think for themselves. Think about it. Anyone willing to celebrate the words of a Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann or Stuart Smalley (D-MN) can't be very smart to begin with, right?

 

Let's add Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews and Lawrence O'Donnell to that list. Anyone who listens to these whackjobs and actually believes the mush they spew are more stupid than the pundits themselves.

ok I'm joking but the sad truth is that those clowns are on TV.

 

I've never wasted a second watching Schultz or O'Donnell (Rosie's alter ego?) so I can't comment on their stupidty but given who they work for & with, I can only imagine.

 

More liberal radio. The New Black Panther Radio - can some one tell me just why this is not terrorism? Michelle Williams and Chawn Kweli, the New Black Panther’s chief of staff in Tampa and a national spokesman, were the primary voices on the call.

 

It seems as if there's not much difference between the New Black Panther Party, terrorism, bunker mentality, Occupy Wall Street, liberals, socialists and racists.

 

98 Major Advertisers Dump Rush Limbaugh, Other Right-Wing Hosts

When it comes to advertisers avoiding controversial shows, it’s not just Rush From today’s TRI Newsletter: Premiere Networks is circulating a list of 98 advertisers who want to avoid “environments likely to stir negative sentiments.” The list includes carmakers (Ford, GM, Toyota), insurance companies (Allstate, Geico, Prudential, State Farm) and restaurants (McDonald’s, Subway). As you’ll see in the note below, those “environments” go beyond the Rush Limbaugh show.

“To all Traffic Managers: The information below applies to your Premiere Radio Networks commercial inventory...They’ve specifically asked that you schedule their commercials in dayparts or programs free of content that you know are deemed to be offensive or controversial (for example, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Leykis, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity).’

This helps explain why, on Rush Limbaugh’s flagship station WABC, almost of the commercial breaks were filled with unpaid pubic service announcements. You can check out the list of the 50 advertisers who were known to have dropped Limbaugh before this report here.

But it’s not just Limbaugh that these advertisers want to disassociate with, but other big names in right-wing radio too. As the Daily Beast’s John Avalon notes, this is unprecedented in the 20-plus years that Limbaugh and his imitators have been on the air and could spell real trouble for an industry that’s already suffering demographically. Women ages 24–55 are the prize advertising demographic, but Limbaugh and other conservative hosts have steadily alienated these listeners over the years, so the sexist attacks on Sandra Fluke were “a perfect storm.”

The advertising flight is reminiscent of Glenn Beck’s Fox News program. After major companies refused to advertise on Beck’s show in light of racially insensitive comments, he was left with just fringe businesses like survival seed banks and gold sellers. Not long thereafter, he left Fox, reportedly under pressure.

 

With a Muslim President? Stalinists were not noted for their toleration of competing cults. Something doesn't add up here.

Number one comedy tour in the country now a top selling album

The right loves to tell us how the free market rules and dictates what we will consume, and that’s allegedly why liberal talk radio is confined to a few weak radio stations. However, the number one comedy tour in the country is turning that argument on its ear.

The Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour has been selling out venues all over the country, including the Detroit Opera House, since it launched last April in Madison, WI, and it has earned $1 million so far, despite the show donating to a local liberal cause at every stop on the tour. The show features liberal radio host Stephanie Miller – who can be hard every morning on Detroit’s WDTW 1310-AM – and liberal comedians John Fugelsang and Hal Sparks. The tour became one of the highest grossing touring events of 2011, and it has been nominated for 4 Pollstar awards, that recognizes the concert industry, including nominations for Best Tour and Best Lead Comedy Performer; Stephanie Miller.

The tour has also spawned a comedy album that was just released on Dec. 13, and it has quickly shot up the Billboard Comedy Album Charts; sitting at No. 3 for the second straight week. It has done this despite the fact that there is no actual CD; it’s still just a download. The album was only out a week before it hit the charts at No. 3.

The tour has sold out in places where Miller is not on the air, and in some places where no liberal talk is even on the air. I just wonder how long people are going to accept the false argument that liberal talk will not sell in the face of this success, and when some radio station that lies to make money will cash in ion liberal talk radio.

A perfect example of the lie that liberal radio is not successful is when Detroit radio station WXYT-AM (1270) switched last fall from a sports format to more syndicated right-wing psycho talk. It made no sense then why we would get more psycho talk in a blue state in one of the most liberal cites in America, and it makes less sense today.

It makes you wonder why conservatives and radio program directors hate capitalism.

 

It's a COMEDY tour for crying out loud...but I guess it's quite fitting as everyone knows liberalism is a JOKE.

If it wasn't for that last one republicans would have nothin' right to say at all. It's kind of like gravity though... float around in space long enough and eventually you'll hit somethin'.

 

And with little looking I could easily find scripture posted by Takiji and moen. So you are calling them liars?

And the liberal speak is that "cuts" mean that the increase will be less than originally planned. The problem here is my espousing is factual and yours is just ridiculous.
