moen has you so lathered up & twisted you can't even see straight. So here's the deal....Zimmerman's guilt or innocence needs to be determined by a court of law. Listening to moen, Al Sharpton & msnbc just doesn't work for you.
Hey rlm and Coin! In spite of your best attempts to remain incommunicado, it seems that David can't hang with you and has sent me a couple of terse private messages in spite of your 3-way ban. Just thought you should know that he is NOT playing by your schoolyard rules. Too funny!
Hey gang, it has been a while. AS you know, I am a pro gunner and carry concealed here in AZ. I am thinking Zimmerman is wrong here and should be charged. Just so ya know
When you are a neighborhood watch, you weapon should be a cell phone. Zimmerman was told by 911 to stop persuing the suspect. Period. Thats my opinion.
Hey Jack! You know you and I don't agree often but it is nice to see you back just the same! BTW It's me Moen1305. I changed my ID.
Indeed. Here's an interesting video everyone here should watch... http://gma.yahoo.com/video/news-267...illance-video-prior-to-shooting-29338445.html
I see absolutely no problem with charging Zimmerman. Being charged with a crime doesn't necessarily mean that he's guilty of the crime. Being charged allows prosecution to go forward as well as his defense being able to build a case. Good to have you back, Jack! I miss your hot sauce!!
I totally agree that Neighborhood Watch should only be an "observe and report" mechanism. However, the facts of this case aren't fully known. If Zimmerman was, indeed, in fear for his life then he may have been justified in shooting Martin.
If I follow someone with a gun in my pocket and the person I am following turns and confronts me for following him, do I then have the right to pull out the gun in my pocket and shoot him for confronting me? I don't believe it is important who started the fight, who was screaming, or who was getting the tar beat out of them, the real issue is that the guy that had the power to end a kids life in his pocket the whole time did everything necessary to make sure that was the outcome based on his actions. Having a gun in your pocket gives you a trump card or a get out of jail free card in situations like this and in my opinion makes the one with the weapon is always more belligerent because that person knows that he can end the situation with the simple squeeze of the trigger. Didn’t Zimmerman have the option to shoot Martin in the leg rather than taking lethal aim at this kids chest? Every decision Zimmerman seems to have made led to the inevitable killing of an unarmed teenage. Zimmerman shoulders the ultimate blame in this situation anyway you look at it. My prediction: He will be convicted but of course that is up to the jury to decide.
I don't know if any words can get through that thick skull of yours, but please show where anyone on this forum is defending Zimmerman. Is saying that the man deserves a fair trial defending him? Is it defending him to say that if Zimmerman was in fear for his life he would be justified in shooting Martin? Is it defending him to say that everyone should wait until all the evidence is known before he's convicted in the court of public opinion? If the roles were reversed and it was Martin accused of shooting Zimmerman, I would say the same things. That's not "defending" anyone. It's simply allowing the criminal justice system to work.
Dumbest comment yet! Zimmerman couldn't have been all that afraid for his life because he knew that he had the ultimate solution in his pocket. Aggravating the situation and raising it to the level it eventually reached was no big deal for Zimmerman because he knew in advance he had the power to end it at any moment. I’m sure Martin didn’t have the same confidence the gun gave Zimmerman. You guys like to pretend that Zimmerman walked into this situation and was completely surprised by the whole thing and merely defended himself. BS!
Ohhhhh, David's losing it! He's losing it, everyone!! He keeps saying "moen" is still here! LOL ...awwwwwww, do you miss him? Do these lyrics go through your twisted little head when thinking about him?: "Youuuu are....soooo beautiful........... to me......."...I'm just wondering, 'cause you seem to miss him sooooo much! SHOW ME WHERE I SAID OTHERWISE ...and if your head wasn't all twisted trying to catch a lustful glimpse of moen's body, you'd realize that it's been you three who've been saying Zimmerman shouldn't be charged. Re-read the thread if you're still not certain of that.
Hey Jack, welcome back. I know we don't know each other well... but just last night I was thinking about when you left, as I was going over some old posts, and was hoping everything was well with you.
May I refer you to post# 325...straight from the horses...ummm...mouth. Once agaim, what's wrong with letting the legal system do it's job? Afraid you'll disappoint moen by letting up now?
You can't refer to my posts! That is a violation of the 3-way. Well, then again, so was your other post about IQ and all the little angry private messages you keep sending to me. Next time, instead of just laughing at them and deleting them, I'll repost them in this or another thread. I'll of course edit the d*** face comments out before I do.
As ArizonaJack can probably tell you, people train themselves to shoot center-mass... the body/torso...roughly centered at the bottom of the breast bone. Shooting at the arms or legs is only an option with highly experienced and confident marksmen, and only when that option is viable. Zimmerman was anything but "highly trained", he was a novice. As such, he had no real ability to be confident in that situation... as I said earlier, he's guilty (IMO) of not using proper procedures while carrying a gun in a potentially dangerous situation. When chasing a target, he gun should be at the ready, and definitely not brought into low-light conditions where the gun can possibly be taken away from you, AND he should have listened to the 911 personnel from the begining and stayed in his vehicle.
I call bull**** on that! In the begining, you were calling for everyone (except you and your buddies) to not talk about this incident at all. You wanted us to let the authorities make the call, which at the time was that Zimmerman was innocent, or not being charged with Martin's death... which suited you fine! Our position has always been that charges should be brought against Zimmerman for the murder of Martin, and you (and your buddies) have fought against that the entire time! So no, I call your comment bull****, and pathetic!
