Just because I'm not rushing to judgement based on the furor being stirred up by Al Sharpton doesn't mean I "support" one side or the other. So, to answer your question, I'm not supporting an idiot but I seem to be wasting my time discussing this with one.

 

And a RW'er defends a guy who chases a kid down gets into a fight and then breaks out the gun he brought with him and shoots the kid to death and says he was defending himself. By RW'er logic, anyone can walk onto a playground and start harassing school kids and if they stand up for themselves, he has a right to pull a gun out of his pocket and blow those kids away.

So why doesn't Martin get the same benefit of the doubt? Is it 'cause he was a black kid walking through a neighborhood that had a history of recent break-ins? What's your reason for "convicting" Martin on a public forum such as this one?

Did he (Martin) or did he not have the right to defend himself, to stand his ground.
