I insulted him in life because he was a sleaze merchant. His death doesn't change that fact at all. He was a RW joke like Limbaugh is. You have no shortage of them.

 

So by your logic, if you lie and openly state that you lied then it is not a lie. But then you just lied about your not lie being a lie so you lied anyway? HUH??? I am getting a headache!

And please watch the video. Breitbart addresses the gay issue himself. You can believe him or not. I personally would look up if he said the sky was blue just to confirm the truth of the matter because he is quite well-known for his outright lies.

I haven't been nasty to him nearly to the degree you and the other stooges have been nasty to me personally but I think this thread has run it's course and the only thing left to do is to get really nasty with Breitbart's "legacy" of sleaze.

 

As enlightened as you claim to be, why should it matter if Breitbart was gay or not? Why have you chosen to make it news?
By choosing AIDS as the casue of his death it seems you are attaching a stigma to the disease.

 

Let's just say I know what makes you guys tick. If all it took to get you buzzing like a recently kicked hornet's nest was to say he died of AIDS, then my work is done.

What you seem to want to imply is that by using AIDS as a cause of death, I am disparaging people with AIDS. All I'm really doing is successfully pushing your buttons and that fact that you can't seem to focus on anything else tells me that I was spot on. In the kingdom of glass everything is transparent, and there is no place to hide a dark heart.

 

So people got into a tizzy over the insinuation that someone was gay, or had AIDS, or died as the result of either/and/or.... got it.

Now how is being gay, or having AIDS, or dying as a result of either/and/or damaging to someone's reputation?

Face it, Moen played a simple game of "Gotcha!", and that game had some winners and some losers. He exposed the tendency of Republicans to view homosexuality in a negative way, and is that really a shock to anyone? The party screams it. Lesson over.

I isolated a portion of your post simply to get to the crux of the matter. I don't know how you can think you pulled a "gotcha" on anyone as I just wanted to know why you felt AIDS was the best cause of death to fabricate in your attempt to embarrass & riducle the guy.

 

Actually it was moen who used the tragedy of Aids in a negative manner...everything else has been damage control after he got called on it. I'm sure, deep down, he is glad to have you here to protect him.

Did it ever occur to you that this practice is dishonest, deceitful, desperate, pathetic, morally vacant, and outright fraudulent? Don't feel bad, it didn't occur to Breitbart either.

From your Republican point of view that is true. From my more Independant point of view I see the reactions by some of the Republicans here as evidence of something that is already blatently apparent in politics... that a significant portion of Republicans view homosexuality as repulsive. DENYING THAT FACT IS POINTLESS.

As for damage control, I call you on that. From my perspective it's you doing damage control for coin and rlm ...and one or two other Republicans who became enraged in this thread. I've seen you three make this kind of move often enough now to conclusively say you do it in order to take attention away from a subject where you have no hope in winning the argument. I call that cowardly.

As far as myself? I support Moen in most arguments, but not in all, and I arrive at my conclusions independant of his own... could you say the same for people like coin and rlm? Have you ever disagreed with either of them in any significant way as I have with Moen over guns?

 

Frankly, you have bored me with your endless sniping. As they say, there is a chance that you don’t like me but even a better chance I just don’t care. Have a great time sniping at no one.

 

This thread started out in extremely poor taste, went quickly south from there thanks to the folks who supported the "poor taste" aspect and then has degenerated into a steaming pile of... goo. Thanks for another one of your worthless threads, Moen.

Oh well, I guess I'm done here. Tak is right--this forum has become a waste of time. This thread is not political satire. It is trolling. It was done to cause trouble. If this thread had been made about Obama or another Democrat or liberal, I think the outcome would have been different.

Since my roommate is in the hospital--again--and may lose her leg due to the incompetence of the hospital on a previous admission, I have better things to do than waste my time with a forum that permits this kind of misbehavior. The constant David/Moen/IQless/Clembo testosterone emitting contests are bad enough, but when this kind of garbage is permitted, it's far past time to leave. I may check in on occasion to see if there is more effective moderating or if the bad behavior has ceased, but I won't be sticking around to wade through a cesspool of obvious trolling posts and "boys being boys."
