Q: How can you tell that Rick Santorum is lying? A: His lips are moving and there's tan froth at the corners of his mouth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FactCheck.org | "Santorum’s Bogus Euthanasia Claims"
So, this is what happens when you're at a "faith conference"? IMO, it says a lot about 'faith', one part being that, with faith, there is no need for fact-checking.
Meh, there's faith and faith. I consider some people of faith to be exemplary human beings. On the other hand, Rick Santorum is a vile specimen; a real piece of work. It's quite possible he would be the same no matter what his religious beliefs. His religious orientation may make him more self-righteous than he otherwise might be, though. Another look at just how wrong "Frothy" is about this particular issue: Washington Post | "Euthanasia in the Netherlands: Rick Santorum’s bogus statistics"
He's also saying things like, "I love animals," "of course pet owners have rights--we just care about protecting animals," and "sport hunters are vital to conservation efforts." There is nothing that makes this man trustworthy or a good candidate.
