It was just announce Senator Mark Kirk has suffered a stroke. No real details to go with it. I hope all is well with my fraternity brother. Don't want to have moen celebrate too much.
Sorry stroke. Let me see. If you both belong to the same fraternity, you are fraternity brothers. However, in this case it is even more than that. We both went to the same school and it is the only chapter of a local fraternity.
I thought you said it was Michigan? Born in Champaign, Illinois, he graduated from Cornell University, London School of Economics, and Georgetown University Law Center. He practiced law throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He joined the United States Navy Reserve in 1989 and was recalled to active duty for the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. He participated in Operation Northern Watch in Iraq the following year. He remains a member of the Navy Reserve, now holding the rank of Commander.
You though I said what was Michigan? So far as I am aware, you history of Kirk is correct. So where are you going with this?
I thought you said a while ago that you and he went to the same school in Michigan. Am I misremembering that factoid?
To you, I never really said specifically where I went to school although I did everything but name it. I told you I went to the same school and fraternity as Kirk and graduated with Ken Dryden (the liberal party leader of Canada). I also stated that the average SAT score for my university was 1367 while yours was only 1205. Michigan is 1283. I also stated that the border immediately north of my school was Canada. If that is not specific enough for you, you will find the answer here http://www.partisanlines.com/threads/packers-win-again.3993/
They said on the news this morning that his chances of a full physical recovery are not good but his chances of a full mental recovery are much better. Poor guy, he is so young.
