Here is the entire post so there is nothing "out of context".
Now, just how does "two Kenyan Muslim haters of white people" refer to anyone other than "both Condi and Powell"? I am sure you can come up with another excuse for it, but don't bother because I won't pay any attention to it anyway.

This is true but neither is Obama a Kenyan Muslim hater odf whites but that doesn't stop the RW'ers from saying it anyway. I figured that if I just used their logic against them, they might realize how dumb they sound. Apparently not.

I think it's time that people move on from racist terms like "black", "white" or whatever they usually say. Why do some people keep using the terms "black" or "white"? It does nothing but objectify the person. Discuss a politician's policies or programs, but please leave skin pigmentation out of the conversation.

I really doubt Rice will be on the ticket. Mitt is going to need someone on the ticket with him who will help out with the Southern Christian Conservative base. I don't know who that is, but it's not Rice.

It's sad that you have to explain this to them, although you really don't. They know exactly what card they are playing. The way they responded to you typifies their message. Why wouldn't a "Librul" vote for an all Black Republican ticket? It must be closet racism. They know full well that the issue for us is their politics rather than skin color but for them color is a big deal. Obama pretty much proved that. So basically their argument is, if you'd vote for Obama why wouldn't you vote for Rice? If you wouldn't you must be a hypocrite. It makes perfect sense to their base.

I can't agree with all of that, Takiji. Many people voted for Obama based on HIS SKIN TONE ONLY, not his policies. Doing so is the very definition of racism and it came squarely from the liberal voters. Whether you vote for someone based only on skin tone or whether you vote against someone for the same reason that's pure racism, pure and simple:

Starts around 3:45 (If you like Steve Harvey, his comedy is pretty funny, btw)

Conservatives have been accused (by the libs, of course) of being racists. I'm a conservative & don't consider myself racist. I am heavily involved in conservative casues & I can't recall any racist behavior expressed by conservatives, in fact if any signs of racism presented itself I would condemn it & honestly belief the people who share by beliefs would do the same thing. I would be curious to see any instance of a conservative politician acting in or advocating a racist position.
Let's not forget these recent left wing comments:
Bill Clinton saying BO wasn;'t good enough to serve him tea
Harry Reid discussing BO's "negro dialect" or lack thereof
Joe Biden calling BO "clean"...if you are from the South you know exactly what that means
...and don't forget BO himself calling grandmother a "typical white woman". "Typical"?

What comments have prominent conservatioves made that would be similarly racist?

I've witnessed prejudice from persons from the entire political spectrum. Prejudice is present in people represented by every skin tone. I despise prejudice, but what I despise even more is hypocrisy. Hypocrisy runs rampant in liberals.

Let us be honest if for only one moment here. There are some people that would vote for someone like Obama "just" because he is black, half black, ethnic, or just simply different from the 43 guys that came before him. There are probably just as many or more people that would vote against him for the exact same reasons. No one here actually knows how many people either situation really has so they use words like many, most, a lot, huge numbers and so on to make their argument sound plausible. They really have no idea how many people vote this way but what we can infer is that some people walk into the voting booth and vote for someone for reasons they feel are good enough. You and I might not vote using their justifications but those same reasons may be lurking in the back of our heads just the same.

I know full well how reasonable posts such as this are treated in this forum. The people that believe and agree with my assertions will read them and kindly "like" them or quote them and the people that disagree or even agree but can't hear it from me because it falls outside of their preconceived ideals of "liberals" simply ignore them and hold steadfastly to their ideology. But if we actually treated each other with the respect we'd like to be treated with, no one would bother making wildly inaccurate statements like the ones that we see here. I think what we give up for the sake of ideology is the ability to hear each other. I agree that it can be fun to "needle" each other but that this forum really can't be thought of as a debate either. Some folks here have probably convinced themselves that this is actual debate but again, for one moment, honestly, this is just me poking fun at you and you poking fun at me. Post all the videos and quotes and sound bites you want, they prove nothing other than your own ability to take a side not whether you are right or you are wrong.

Ah! Must be the end of the year or the fact that I stayed up until 5:30 am doing a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
