Afghanistan to back Pakistan if wars with US: Karzai

After ten years of war, US has created such a puppet ally in Afghanistan.

 

Yeah, although I supported the idea of going into Afghanistan to find Bin Laden and disrupt the Al-Qaeda network there, as well as my bias against the Taliban (they destroyed the standing Buddhas), I knew there was little we could do to prevent another anti-American faction from coming into power there. Not long after Karzai was 'elected' (cough) the people created a new society that is basically the same as Sharia Law, with very minor gains for non-male muslims... maybe call it "Sharia Law Light"? Soon afterwards there was a story about an Afghanistan male who wanted to denounce his muslim faith, to stop practicing that religion. The law in Afghanistan said that once you are a muslim you cannot leave the religion... under punishment of death. Yikes! Last I heard the guy was fighting the death sentence. I'm guessing he's been dead for nearly a decade now.
