Except for seven and parts of eight and ten, I'm not sure that I disagree with Ron Paul on the substance of these positions. I have to find out if I'm going to go process venison this morning--if I am, I'll address my thoughts when I get back. I just felt the need to get this conversation on track again.
Aw, c'mon....you've already taken the name-calling away, petty sniping is all we have left. Without that what will we do for amusement? (I'm sure moen & I agree on that)

Though they let Ron Paul leads over other candidates in Iowa this time, it’s only a trick. When more and more people show their support to an honest politician that rarely seen these days, the rulers have to compromise a little bit. Otherwise the rigging and suppressing is too evident. However, Ron Paul has no chance because this country is controlled by the tyrants. They will have plots and tricks to rig the election. Watch and notice, you will see finally how corruptive this country is. Quote: You will have a president obedient to the rulers such like idiot Bush. Or an incompetent one like Obama. None will work for the people.
I do think Ron Paul is principled more or less. Certainly in comparison to his fellow candidates. I'm totally with him on the need both financial and moral, although I'm not sure he focuses on the moral much, to dismantle our empire, end our occupations, and mind our own business for a change instead of trying to remake the world into something more congenial to our corporate masters. But I find some of this other convictions, no doubt equally sincerely held, to be absurd. That being said I enjoy the way he upsets the orthodox political establishment. I think if he were to win the nomination at least there would be some interesting discussion going forward rather than the name-calling and gotchas, lies, and cheap fluff that normally characterizes the squabbles within the ruling Republicratic Party
Yeah... they tried side-lining him, and have had some success, but it seems to me his purpose is to to smack the other republicans around a bit. I do enjoy their uncomfortable squirming when he's speaking and his hand is raised.
I do too. He seems to be talking the Teabaggers' language on a lot of issues. This might cause the establishment to be a little chary about pushing him out altogether.
Well, he is the candidate that is best in terms of animal welfare (not animal *rights*) issues. Oh, and he has apparently never taken any campaign contribution from the "Humane Society Legislative Fund" (you know the HSUS-related shell company that bribes buys votes enables the HSUS to do illegal lobbying represents the HSUS in their attempts to infiltrate the USDA destroy animal agriculture end domestic animal breeding write anti-animal/anti-pet/anti-breeder/anti-agriculture/anti-hunting legislation on a state and federal level. That's about as nice as I can get about any of these candidates.
Iowa Caucus Rigged? - MarmiteMan4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrH7w6krKUc&feature=channel_video_title How do you explain Ron Paul finishing third when he was certain to finish first within days of the vote. How did Rick Santorum finish second when he has had barely any support?
