I think I will live. And if anyone wants to report my posts, feel free. I won't feel threatened. I stand behind any and all of the words I have typed here and have no fear of having them brought to any moderator's attention.

Hardly words one would associate with the context of this tangent, I would think. When you talk about telling on me I think more along the lines of "douche" "sad" "weasel" (before you jump the gun and run for help, I'm not calling you these things really).

 

In spite of David's continual whining, it takes a pretty personal attack for me to report anything. What I realized a long time ago was that Peter takes out his anger on both the reporter and the person that made the rule-breaking post. Not really worth doing in that reality. I also don't call people tattle tails for reporting posts. What is this, elementary school or something? The line one may or may not cross is usually a matter of word smithing. In other words, a direct insult is addressed by the mods while a more clever insult tends to be ignored. I've just gotten better at couching my "unhappiness" with other posters in ways that seem to go over their heads. Others clue in and they are the real audience anyway.

You asked how many times I reported someone & I was honest enough to tell you. You don't seem to have the same gumption. C'mon, moen, tell us how many times you've reported someone. Once? Twice? Five times? More than 10?

 

It seemed to me like the reaction of someone who is threatened and fearful but you could be right about the elementary school tantrum aspect, though. Hold breath. Stomp feet. Humorous behavior, to me anyway.

No offense, but you telling me that you were honest probably isn't going to really persuade me a whole heck of a lot. Steve?

 

Hypersensitivity and intolerance go hand in hand, and are a dangerous combo. There's an expectation for someone to be sensitive to another person's feelings or opinions, and that's a good thing. It's also a good thing to be intolerant of things that are wrong, to bring attention to the wrong. But being too sensitive leads to too much intolerance... and at that point it stops being good and turns into a bad thing.

Naughty Must not Use this TERM 'talk'... if you think this is a bad thing you are hypersensitive, and that is a bad thing.

None taken (considering the source). But why won't you tell us how many times you reported something to one of the mods here? Afterall, you did want to know how many times I was guilty of it.

 

Sorry but I can not comment on who reports what and for what reason, but in this thread it has been commented on that the remarks made were sexist, now if such comments are made then as you all know these are against forum rules it is up to you to report them I am not on the forum 24/7 therfore if you dont report something dont complain if I miss it

 

Given Steve's comment....I'm going to borrow your statement and say, "That I have never reported anyone for a rule violation ever, ZERO!" Although, I would report you in a heartbeat for even a minor rule violation. Watch your back!
