Oh, I have no doubt he speaks for himself. Who else could say what he says.

...and he may. Or may not. Either way, I chose to give my opinion on your comment, despite it's focus on tom's comment since I had a comment about it I wanted to share. If you insist, you can slap me on the wrist or whatever... it won't deter me from commenting, but it might make you feel better.

I don't know what Perry is like off stage. This could be normal for him. He may have been just having a good time. If that's the case then he's not only a possibly corrupt political stooge, but a really obnoxious one as well.

Tom, having read a number of your posts, I have a sincere question to ask of you. Just what do you bring to any discussion? For the life of me, I can't figure it out.

What do you bring? Your opinions? Right wing propaganda?

Perhaps my opinions, because such is the nature of the Internet--and you know the argument about opinions. ;) As to right wing propaganda, I would like you to show me one post in which I have spread any propaganda of any kind or one post in which I attempted to demonize liberals. Go for it. I'll be back to check your work later. (Make sure you keep your scratch paper or show your work. Thanks.)

Propaganda is communication used to persuade a person or group of people to one's side. If you state simply that you agree with someone or something your in the clear. The moment you start giving reasons behind your beliefs, your spreading propaganda.

Interesting take on the word--in a sense, you're right; however, the term "propaganda" is emotionally charged and is typically used as an invective. In addition, there is a great deal of difference than providing an opinion supported by fact and accusing someone of unthinkingly supporting the talking points provided by a particular group. What I am asking Tom to do is to support his opinion with fact by showing where I espoused any opinion other than my own.

If you red his thread on how Bush blew up the WTC, you might figure out how difficult it is to persuade Tom of anything once he has it in his mind.

Per the OP, may I ask what happened to your boy tonight? Last week he was drunk or high, I though, and you took issue with it. What was his excuse tonight? Just plain stupidity?

I never said Bush blew it up. Cheney ran the whole thing. Bush was evil, but too stupid to head it up....kind of like....PERRY? His Texas team mate?

I have no clue. I got up at 7:30, bathed three dogs, ate breakfast, fed the chickens. I left for school at 11:00 a.m., got home at 8:00 p.m. and started working on an article right away. I have to work on some of my NaNo entry before I go to sleep (it's about 1:40 here right now). I'll probably go to sleep at around 4:00. I'll be up again at 8:00, prep the vegetables for the meat sauce that I'll be serving at the dog show this weekend and simmer chicken bbq and meat sauce while I bathe dogs again, get the raffle prizes together, and consider writing another article. I also have to trim dog nails and clean ears, cook the red beans and rice, and pack everything up for the show, feed the dogs and work on NaNo, till about midnight or so--then it's up at 5 to get everything over to the show and set up my food and raffle booth.

Did I look at Perry for even a second? Do I care about Perry at this moment? Does a fish need a bicycle?

I find it really sad that a person who wants to run the country can't even remember his own plans. His performance is just getting worse and worse. It is really bad when an actor can't remember his lines.

Now that I've had a chance to get caught up, Dee, I completely agree. His performance last night was a mess. While I certainly understand that people can have brain freezes, the average person is not running to win the presidency.

Tom, what I find funny is that you've compared me to Ann Coulter, who I dislike due to her extreme positioning and her complete lack of an internal editor, and have labeled Rick Perry as "my boy." I think the second is even more amusing, since I have already referred to Perry as an animal rights sympathizer here. In my lexicon, that's pretty much synonymous to "Earth-bound demon." There would be few people happier than I to see his campaign go down in flames--heck, I'll provide the Bic to get the fire started.
