Maybe because he happens to be the frontrunner? Or possibly because the only thing the left hates more than a female conservative is a minority conservative?

    We agree on this

The hypocrisy of the Right! They couldn't tolerate Clinton having a consensual affair with a woman but if a guy sexually harasses as many as six women that we know of, they are perfectly OK with putting him in office. Nice!

    Consensual?
"In 1998, Kathleen Willey alleged Clinton sexually assaulted her four years previously. In 1998, Juanita Broaddrick alleged Clinton raped her some twenty years previously." In that one line there is at least 10 time the information yet available on Cain And those women did not just "feel uncomfortable".

    Right!!!

The Final Report of the U.S. Office of the Independent Counsel report noted that "Willey gave false information to the FBI about her sexual relationship with a former boyfriend, and acknowledged having lied about it when the agents confronted her with contradictory evidence. Following Willey’s acknowledgment of the lie, the Independent Counsel agreed not to prosecute her for false statements in this regard."[3] According to Independent Counsel Robert Ray’s report, "Willey’s [Paula] Jones deposition testimony differed from her grand jury testimony on material aspects of the alleged incident."[4]
According to a book critical of Clinton by Candice E. Jackson, Tripp told Larry King in February 1999 that Willey is "an honest person" who was "telling the truth" about having been sexually assaulted by Clinton.[5] However, Tripp's grand jury testimony differs from Willey's claims regarding inappropriate sexual advances.[6]
Willey has a history of controversial claims including telling the FBI she was pregnant and she had a miscarriage when she did not.

In 1997, Broaddrick had filed a sworn affidavit with Paula Jones' lawyers, denying that Clinton had ever assaulted her: "During the 1992 Presidential campaign there were unfounded rumors and stories circulated that Mr. Clinton had made unwelcome sexual advances toward me in the late seventies... These allegations are untrue ...."[1] In November 1998, Broaddrick contradicted her sworn statement in an interview with Dateline NBC.[2][3] The interview, broadcast in February 1999, centered around Broaddrick's accusation that Clinton had raped her on April 25, 1978, during his first campaign for the governorship of the U.S. state of Arkansas, at a time when Clinton was the Attorney General for the state

And just how much later did those reports come out? And can you state absolutely the same type will not come out in favor of Cain?

My problem with Clinton was the fact that as POTUS he preyed on an intern then lied about it. I would have the exact same problem if a Repub did it.

Well, at least you can say that nobody polls the electorate like Herman Cain. :D

Wow! Your position just continues to evolve. You're gonna love Romney. You two were separated at birth.

My position is based on facts, not supposition. So far there are no fact except what Cain has admitted - unless you happen to be liberal and ignore reality.

Your position, in this instance, is based on lack of facts not the presences of facts. At least that is what you keep saying.

This admitted liar certainly polled the electorate like no one else in recent memory:

Except Monica never accused Billy of harassing her. One consenting adult cheating with another. Kind of like Newt Gingrich. But the lying is not good. Either with Clinton or Herman Cain.

I'm referring to the "lying" aspect. Is Cain lying?

My guess is that we will eventually find out that his memory is not as good as it could be. ;)

I think so, because it appears that he knew about the settlements although he at first denied all knowledge. But I have to go now and I don't have time to google sources. I think that Cain has been lying . But if I"m wrong, I"m wrong. I don't have a horse in this race.

Well Herman, that just clears everything right up.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Republican presidential contender Herman Cain grew agitated with reporters after a debate with Newt Gingrich and is vowing to never answer questions about allegations of sexual harassment a decade ago.
Speaking after a one-on-one debate with rival Gingrich on Saturday, Cain cut off reporters who asked about allegations of sexual harassment and suggested journalists who wanted answers were behaving unethically.
When one reporter tried to ask a question about the allegations, Cain cut him off. When another asked him if he planned to never address the allegations, he replied "you got it."
Cain says his staff does not want him to respond to the stories and "we are getting back on message, end of story."

I don't blame Cain. A politician could spend all his time defending himself against allegations. It's up to the accusers to prove their allegations; not up to the politician to disprove them.
