Now what about all of the Right-wing pundits that accused the Left of this leak of facts about Cain? They had no proof but it didn't stop Limbaugh, Counlter, Hannidy, and the rest from pointing their crooked little fingers in the direction of the Left. Hum? http://current.com/shows/countdown/...er-pundits-hypocrites-for-attacking-the-press
Since I'm not a Cain fan, I can probably be a bit more objective here. If I were to write the end of this story, I would say someone from the left most likely shopped the story to some of the Repub camps hoping one would be desperate (and foolish) enough to run with it (after Clinton, the dims couldn't break the story and maintain any degree of credibility). The story has the smell of a Rahm Emmanuel/David Axelrod creation. In the end, it will most likely backfire on both of them by making Romney look even more solid while making the dims look petty & nasty.
Are you just not paying attention again? Get your facts straight for once in your life. It's already been determined BY CAIN that Curt Anderson, a newly hired consultant with Texas Gov. Rick Perry's presidential campaign leaked the story to Politico. Of course Anderson is denying it. For God sake, catch up!
Oh, well then, if it's already "been determined" by the injured party the case is closed. Wow, I wish you would have already stated the truth had "been determined". "Been determined" changes to whole debate!! For heaven's sake, let's stop inquiring as to who on the left leaked it to Politico or one of the Repub hopefuls. Gee, you coulda thrown a guy a bone if you had known it had "been determined".
Take some Ritalin. "Accusations" are an entirely different animal than "evidence". Anyone can accuse. For example, look at all those lovely ladies who accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment and sexual assault, but had no evidence (well, except for his reproductive DNA and his own admission, but that's another story). Now, those pundits you mentions have accused the left, yes. But YOU have come flat out and said that it WAS the Perry camp, but have provided no evidence of such. If you're going to proclaim guilt, please provide evidence.
If you are going to take Cain's word as an absolute that Curt Anderson leaked it, then just how can you not accept his version of how nothing happened? Have your cake and eat it too?
Um, yeah, so uhhhh, whatever...but I gotta hear this...what exactly is my personal responsibility in this Cain deal? Maybe you posted this comment in the wrong thread?
WASHINGTON — Herman Cain is defending himself anew and — without evidence — blaming presidential rival Rick Perry's campaign of being behind the disclosure of years-old sexual harassment allegations against him. Cain is pressing forward, even as a third woman says she considered filing a complaint against him over sexually suggestive remarks and gestures.
For all the comments you have made in the last 4 pages along the lines of this... Ah, the bigotry of the left. Reminds me of what Clarence Thomas referred to as a High Tech Lynching.
Without evidence? I thought, according to you, it had "been determined"? And for the recoed, I don't care how this story turns out...I simply enjoy turning moen's own words against him and making him look foolish. It never gets old for me but I figured he would have grown tired of it by now.
Oh, I still believe some dimocrat operative is the root source behind it all. You know why? Because it has "been determined"....you can't dispute something once it's "been determined", you know that.
It sure is. Funny that you would defend your "been established" claim with a quote that says your own assertion is "without evidence". I think you got some 'splaing to do to wiggle out of this one. (this should be good, folks)
"It's already been determined BY CAIN..." But, he was; "Cain grew up in Georgia and graduated from Morehouse College in 1967" - OOPS AND Last time I checked, Cain was not exactly liberal. - OOPS And we still have nothing but anonymous accusations that even if believed amount to someone feeling "uncomfortable". However, since they server you purpose, ................................
The person Cain is accusing of the leak says the conversation never took place. And Cain is also backtracking about whether the conversation took place. And Cain's chief campaign strategist has said he believes the denial that the conversation never took place. I tend to not put a lot of stock in what Cain is saying about this. Cornered animals will lash out at anyone to try and get away. Perry's is a convenient target for Cain to lash out but it doesn't make the accusations true. A little too obviously convenient, really, but the easily convinced certainly took the bait Cain laid out and it got some of the spotlight off him for half a news cycle...at least until the accusation started falling apart and put the full spotlight back on Cain.
The backtracking lasted an entire 3 hours until Cain himself reasserted the allegation against Perry in yet another interview. Suddenly we have a total of 6 women claiming sexual harassment and a witness who claims to have overheard Cain sexually harassing a woman during some function. Suddenly, just who leaked the story doesn’t seem all that important. With so many allegations and a witness, I find myself not caring all that much just who leaked the story initially, and wondering who I should thank. If there is any justice in the world, the people that end up being responsible for the leak will turn out to be his own family. It sounds like payback actually is a %#@*^%!
I'm glad you're not a Cain fan David but as for your objectivity on the subject I'm skeptical as it immediately goes blame the left. Why would the Democrats seriously waste any time on bashing Cain (even underhandedly) when he does it to himself on a daily basis it seems? Why would Perry for that matter? The Republicans are busy fighting amongst themselves. Most have already lost. AGAIN. Cain is toast. Perry not far behind. Romney will most likely get the nod. He's playing it smart and keeping his yap shut.
