For me it starts with church time, then game time, then race time and, if time permits, training dog and dinner time. Is everyone else similarly busy or is it something else?
For us it's all about the kids. Church at 9am, played golf with my daughters while the wife studied. Stopped by a flea market and rock & mineral show, went to the Y then out to eat. *whew*
Not me, Sundays are no different to me than any other day, though if the Packers game is available I'll watch it. Work-wise I'll work any day of the year, and when I worked at a retail store I filled-in for all the other people who took those days off. I used to watch NASCAR, but haven't lately... even when I did watch it I was cleaning or doing something else and only watched the replays of the crashes and restarts lol
You would have liked yesterday's race, then. Eighteen caution flags, most from crashes--and they didn't run under the yellow for every single crash in the race. At one point, someone's batteries fell out--at another, one pit crew "got confused" about whether a tire was coming off or going on and the driver left pit road with a tire that was on the car but not secure. The driver pulled out on the track--but the tire preceded him into the turn and across the tarmac. He had to make his way around the track again on a car with three tires. It remains a miracle to me how these drivers can end most race days unhurt.
Yesterday I went to a coin show and basically did nothing else except cut up and freeze a lot of meat. Big sale on Thursday so the wife and I are set for some time. Usually on Sundays it is a day I like to cook, clean (not that I really enjoy that part), laundry, football games. Of course if there's a Blackhawks hockey game on it over rules EVERYTHING else.
What? No FOX watching for you either? According to some of the libs here, all we conservatives do is sit around & watch FOX all day...wish I had the down time to watch any television.
Believe it or not, no (although I might turn it on long enough to watch Fr. Jon. If there was ever a Fr. What-a-Waste, that man is it!). I usually only watch Fox on Monday mornings and never in the evenings. But yeah, Sunday mornings are too busy most of the time for me to worry about watching any television and during non-football season, I usually hang around after church for luncheon and socializing--so even less television time then!
Yeah, that's the stuff I'd rather see. I mean, you can only watch a car go in a circle so many times right?
