Some of BO's best lies weren't included.....as an attempt to justify his failed stimulus spending, BO claimed several jobs were created in a certain Congressional district. The truth? The district didn't exist & the jobs weren't created.
I also liked his "story" about being deneid entrance to the dimocRAT convention & being so poor he couldn't afford to rent a car to get back home...he & his wife were both lawyers & he had written at least one memoir by this point. His wife was an active "board member" with substantial income.
He's just a flat out liar with a whole lot of sheep willing to accept the justifications he comes up with (or come up with their own justifications). Wake up! He's ruining this country & just gets bolder every time the idiots let him go unchecked.

 

In other words, they are pretty much a stretch. These are just from some guys blog. They aren't based in anything but hatred of Obama. There is no reason at all to pay any attention to someone who simply has a mission to hate the Obama Administration. The vast majority of the "lies" are so petty that are laughable.

Just curious, but you must be taking much pride now that they have closed Gitmo while you were watching the hearings on BO's bipartisan health care bill live on CNN in that summer of recovery. Hummm?

 

I remember the Right-wing push-back when the Obama Administration tried to close Gitmo and have trials for these people in the U.S. Now you want to take the other side of the argument and say that Obama failed to close Gitmo? Aren't you just sort of playing both side of the situation without any allegiance or consistency to any position other than hypercriticism. Just curious.

 

Really? The Dips controlled the house. The Dips controlled the Senate - filibuster proof control. The Dips controlled the presidency. Yet somehow, BO could not keep his promise to close Gitmo and you manage to blame "the Right-wing". The republicans controlled nothing and could not stop anything the Dips wanted, yet you accuse "the Right-wing" of keeping Gitmo open. Would you care to explain just how "the Right-wing" managed BO from getting anything he desired? Absolutely anything?

Actually, they never had a filibuster proof majority. They always needed the help of independents like Lieberman and blue dogs like Ben Nelson both of which I would hardly call Left leaning. You forget the Left doesn't march in ideological lockstep like the Right does.
You are simply pushing another Right-wing meme that takes the focus off of those that are actually doing the obstruction and tries to refocus on those trying to overcome the obstruction. If you really wanted Gitmo closed rather than just a hypercritical stick to beat a Democrat president with, you'd be complaining about the Cons that opened Gitmo, kept it open, and still scream bloody murder when any suggestion is made to close it. But you don't do that do you? Who do you really think you're fooling here other than yourself? I just gotta ask.

Your only excuse is that Lieberman was an independent? Just how many were there in the Dip's caucus? And just how far did you have to push your "meme" to put that story together?

As an aside to this, no, I do not want Gitmo open. However, I can also see a clear picture of the world. I do not want Gitmo closed until there is a better (or at least equal) solution out there and I don't think that will ever occur.

 

A while back, he complained to Peter that I was calling him Rim. I have no idea why that would bother anyone nor was I the one that started using this term for him but Peter asked me to stop and I did. Never really got an explanation of why this would be insulting but I don't like to make waves for Peter because I do appreciate that provides this forum for us and I guess that was good enough for me. Maybe someone else can explain to me why this would even bother anyone. rlm or rim big deal! He has and still does use any pejorative he can come up with to label me but he bothered by "rim" for some reason. My God! Grow up man.

 

So on the one hand you don't want Gitmo closed but on the other hand you want to complain that Obama hasn't closed Gitmo and on yet another hand you'd like it closed but don't believe that there is a workable solution to closing it. No schizophrenia there.
You can't even figure out your own position but you don't hold those responsibile that created the situation but you blame those stuck with solving it for not solving it as soon as you'd like to see them solve it.

 

OMG! So now BO lies about Gitmo and CNN because apparently you don't agree with my position on Gitmo. Talk about twisting and turning a bit! I guess that means you have conceded that the Dips really did control the House, Senate and Presidency all at once. Therefore, they could pass whatever they wanted.

 

For the same reason you were admonished by the Administrator is why you should ask someone first of you can refer to them by a derogatory or inflammatory nickname. Some people may take it personally.
