More Violent Protests in Egypt - This Time It's Against Christians

You have Christian girls being kidnapped and ganged raped then sold back to their families for ransom. You have Christian Churches being burned down. You have Christians being pulled out of their cars and beat up, you have Christians being murdered. But the world seems not to care for they are Christian. Funny I thought they were just innocent people being attacked for they have a belief that is not in the majority. Does anyone else see the horror in this.

 

I have to be honest Andy, when you say "Christian girls" I drop the "Christian" part. Their religion really doesn't matter to me. This is a problem whenever men dominate an area, men of any religion, any class. It happens in Egypt, in Pakistan, and in America. I don't like it any more than you do, but I don't see anyone being able to prevent it from happening.

 

Tell that to Obama, an admitted Christian. He doesn't believe homosexuals should be allowed to marry (an attack on gay rights). He probably should have stayed in Jeremiah Wright's church (your "politicization of their congregation" proven) instead of venturing out into the political sphere (... and proven, also) just like you said. Actually, moen, these are some of the most introspective statements I've ever heard you utter. Obama's certainly thrown his weight around and now, yes, he's getting it thrown right back at him. Good call...!!

I do not think that you understand that they are targeting Christian girls because they are Christian and the police are not doing anything about it because the girls are christians.

Verses 23.5 and 70.28 of the Koran legalize rape of captive women, who are not muslim. Sharia law is being introduced into Egypt since the regime change. That makes killing, raping, robbing of non-muslims not a crime.

 

Now all of the sudden the Christian-bashers among us are silent?

 

Christian Bashers? Stop calling us names you Christian apologist! I really have nothing against Christians that I don't also have against every other form of organized religion. They're all cults to me. It really makes no difference to me what the individual superstitions are among the different cults, they are all still cults.

The fact that one group of religious nuts are again killing another group of religious nuts to me is like rooting for one drug cartel over another drug cartel. Who really cares which one wins? As soon as one religious group gains enough power, they'll be the ones killing the ones that used to kill them. Show me in history where this formula has ever changed.

 

Well you might not care now but your children will when they have no rights and live in a world dominated by Sharia law. This uncaring for the deaths of non-muslims around the world by muslims who wish to have a muslim only world is going to do just that, lead to a muslim only world. I still think the only reason why they have not succeeded yet is they still too busy killing each other in deciding which muslim faith will be the only word on Islam.

 

Midas was right about the abuses of Islam and the horror that faces the world if it still goes unchecked. He may have not realized that the greatest victims of Islam are those born trapped into it.

Case in point

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - An Iranian actress has been sentenced to 90 lashes and a year in jail for starring in an Australian movie with a shaved head -- and no head-covering.

Marzieh Vafamehr, who appeared in "My Tehran for Sale," has appealed the sentence.

According to Amnesty International, Vafamehr also appears to drink alcohol in the movie. Consuming alcohol is banned under Iranian law. The penalty is 80 lashes -- for the first offense.

The Australian movie, oddly enough, is about an actress in Iran who is forced to live a secret life in order to express herself.

It didn't work out for Hitler and it won't work out for any other group trying to conquer the world either actually or theoretically. Stop worrying, relax, and turn Glenn Beck off. It isn't going to EVER happen.

 

Some in the Muslim areas of the world might see images like these and think maybe it is Christians that are running around unchecked and trapped into it. Ya think?

I almost started a thread on this story yesterday lol

 

I was about to say something along similar lines. I can't say it will never happen though, only that as the groups make the attempt they will be fought.

 

I do understand. I also understand that there are women & young girls who are raped in many muslim countries, and are then found guilty of adultery, and then in some case killed... simply because the women/girls walked without an adult male. Again though, what can be done to prevent this from happening? There are millions of people who try to come up with answers to that question, but little progress has been made.

 

So she came out of the closet. Good for her and don't go back to Iran.

...I not completely certain why, but when I think of Glenn Beck I think of a hamster... maybe I wanna see Glenn Beck on a hamster wheel... no, no... it's his vibe... ...and he belongs in a cage!

 

I'm sure they'll say the whole "extermination" thing is blown out of proportion...
