Nope. Weight isn't an issue for me, though I'd probably pay a little more attention to what the Vice-President does since he/she has a slightly increased chance of becoming President before the next election.

It's not an issue of weight. It's more an issue of health. Is he healthy enough at 320 pounds to stand the rigors of the presidency or even the campaign? He has adult onset asthma, needs a helicopter, a limo, and a golf cart to get to his son’s baseball game. Does this sound like a guy who has the stamina to run the country?

    Sure

What's your next question? Is Cain too black? Is Bachmann too female? Romney too Mormon?

There is nothing unhealthy about being black, female or Mormon. There are significant health issues associated with obesity.

Parents Protest Mandatory Flu Vaccine Policy

    By: Gerri L. Elder
In New Jersey, many parents are furious over a new requirement that their children get a flu shot in order to attend daycare or preschool. The state is the first in the country to have such a rule.
On October 16, a crowd of activists and parents gathered outside the New Jersey Statehouse to protest the flu vaccine requirement. They also voiced support for a measure that would allow parents to opt out of the mandatory vaccinations for their children.
The organizers of the rally say that they are not against vaccines, but the decision of whether or not children should be vaccinated should belong to parents.

If he is for forcing people to get vaccination shots that have been proven to cause serious illness and great profits for Medical Industry then he is a fat pig as far as I am concerned.

I've never had a flu shot in my life. I'd rather have the flu. At least I would get to lay in bed and sleep for a couple of days. :D As it is now, I am losing vacation days because I have accumulated too many.

People will survive the flu. It might be inconvenient to have the flu but I don't think people should be forced to vaccinate their kids for something as mild as the flu. Cancer is another story. Cancer will and does kill many people. I don't think kids have the cognative ability to decide for themselves whether or not to get the HPV shot. A better way to distribute either vaccine would be to push it through the medical community to parents.

No, I think he'd be just fine. Now, if anyone shouldn't have been elected president due to health issues, it would have to be JFK.

Many people do not survive the flu. It kills an average of 36,000 per year in the US - the normal ordinary flu. http://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/disease/us_flu-related_deaths.htm

"Seasonal influenza-related deaths are deaths that occur in people for whom seasonal influenza infection was likely a contributor to the cause of death, but not necessarily the primary cause of death".
From the posted website above. Yes, it kills mainly people who are already dying by speeding up the process from an already overwhelmed body. It is one way they inflate numbers to scare people to get vaccination shots without giving all the details. Did you ever wonder why so many kids have autiusm now, tourettes syndrome, kids and now older people who got that flu shot a couple of years ago who became gluten intorlerant. Excuse my spelling I am exhausted. Think how many vaccination shots you took as a kid and then google how many they give today. It is all about making money then keeping people healthy.

and keeping to the website topic, The govenor of New Jersey is a fat pig.

My opinion....He is not too fat to be President but he is probably too fat to get elected in this celebrity driven society.

He is a showman. King of soundbites and loves one liners so he may come across as the loveable big guy with the bear of a body but a heart of gold and a fist for action.

Maybe. But I bet things would change when the national media gets hold of him as a Presidential candidate.

Eh, maybe he has a hyperactive thyroid.

I think that would be an under active thyroid. Or maybe not. But if he does have that problem, it can be a serious condition and he would need to disclose it. Personally, I think its more likely a moral failing. Wonder which of the other deadly sins he might be into.
