Has anyone noticed how lame & stagnant this forum has become since the rules were changed to censor every one who offended dr moen,phd? It's amazing how it has slowed up in just one week since the admin began to kowtow to dr moen,phd and let him run the show.
Do I sense some sourgrapes upon your return from your most recent banning? Maybe you should stop attacking members and simply present your opinions. But if attacking others is all you have because your ideas are so lame, well....

Not really sourgrapes as my banishment (other than the couple of hours last week you & peter layed on me for hurting your feelings) is mostly self-imposed. Given the the new forum rules, I would have to say I am offended that dr moen,phd would call me "lame"...that has to be against the rules, right? I demand justice!!!!! Actually if you'd read what I wrote and stop putting your wounded duck spin on it, you see that I wrote that your ideas are lame. That is not an attack on you personally just your ideas. I'm not calling you lame, I am calling your ideas lame. Now if I follow the Right-wing whine-fest pattern, you owe me an apology for intentionally mischaracterizing my words. There is no rule in this forum that prevents you from trying to offend me. I am the only one that has control over that. However, there is a rule against personal attacks and name calling which is what you were actually banned for, not for "offending" me. If you can't take personal responsibility for your own posts and have to attribute the punitive actions taken by the moderators to the false argument that the "rules were changed" rather than the rules that have been in force since the beginning, maybe you can point out when and which rules have changed. I'd be interested in seeing which rules have changed. Isn't it just possible that you have just been getting away with violating the rules of the forum all along and even after being warned to stop continued to violate them? At least you could man up and admit that your banning was by your own hand instead of trying to pass the buck onto those that you were attacking in the first place.
I actually thought the signal to noise ratio went in a positive direction in the last week. Seemed like a decrease in mindless conformity, even. I guess this thread is the announcement that it will now move back in a opposite direction?

Okay how about this? Insults are limited to PMs only. If you want to call someone a name you have to do it to his or her face, in private, one-on-one rather than polluting the public areas with this stuff. I mean I'm not averse to a little razzing and elbowing but page after page of invective gets kind of boring. On the other hand I suppose that would take most of the fun out of it.
We don't monitor private conversations, however, they can be reported so don't send insults to someone who's going to report you.
I don't plan on calling anyone anything that might be reportable. My problem is more with words that default to asterisks when you push the button.

Scary thing is I think many of Moen's ideas are so far left that they are lame too. Criticizing a person and criticizing their ideas are two different things. Many grownups understand this. Others don't and whine like little babies. Once upon a time this was PRWE now it's Partisan Lines. I think the latter name fits better. Basically the same old people arguing about the same old things. It's never really a debate and always gets off track IMHO. Seriously the same old crap so basically a waste of time. This is why I rarely post. On the other hand we have a few newer members here. Kind of refreshing whether or not one agrees with them. Still, they can be looked on as "idiots, etc." depending on who is responding. It's all in how one responds. Personally I think there are many "morons" on this site. Can anyone show me where I have "personally attacked" any of them?
Perhaps being from the East coast has desensitized me to personal attacks. It is so common place, I forget that people in other places are actually nice. Besides, name calling is fun. Come on over to the darkside Clembo. You never know, maybe you will enjoy calling David
