Looks like another scam created to loot the nation out of its wealth. Of course the arabs love this for that money could have gone to real solar energy project like solar roof tiles that cover the needs of an entire house and swimming pool. Made to look like spanish roof tile. Already proven to be productive in FLA and could be used for entire Southeast/southwest USA if it has a rebate to lower the cost or have it part of the building code. But Obama is the hound dog of Saudi land so what does anyone expect.

Does anyone care that the application for the loan to Solyndra began under the Bush Administration and the the head of Solyndra is a Republican or should we just keep blaming the Obama Administration for everything whether it makes any sense or not? I thought so. Furthermore, should we care that China is producing the same product with government backing and competing with Solyndra? Of course not.
If people wanted and expected the same kind of poor oversight and judgement on things like this as they got under the Republicans and Bush, why would they bother to vote for Obama in the last election...or why bother to vote for him in the next election for that matter.
What China does has nothing to do with our government oversight. Also, you are correct, the application was filed under the Bush administration. Maybe more importantly, it was rejected. Maybe that should tell you even more.
