http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-...ar-high-in-2010-as-household-income-fell.html Is this what we want to continue?
BO's economy & depression will only worsen as he has no idea what to do. Sooner or later folks will realize BO's solution of spend, spend, spend hasn't worked in the past, is not working now & will not work in the future. As long as this guy is calling the shots we will only slip further & further behind.
My opinion is that no matter who the current President turned out to be the same or worse would have been true. McCain, Clinton, Romney... I doubt any would have been able to convince the Congress that their ideas were any better than Obama's. This recession isn't something that can be 'fixed' or 'repaired' in a few months, or even a few years, and Obama was very blunt about that before being elected. The fact that the Congress is forcing Obama to compromise, and that he IS compromising, should be seen for what it is, a compromise... not a lack of understanding of what needs to be done. Now if the U.S. was a dictatorship, like we have in Michigan under Snyder, then he could do what he wanted without having to ask the Congress to get it done. I say we go there...
.....and it's my view that we all know BO isn't getting the job done. His vision is flawed and he has been ineffective. Time to make a change.
Obama sucks and so will whichever Republican wins next year. We're all screwed no matter what happens. I urge everyone to vote for a third party or write in candidate.
Yeah, I seriously doubt I will want 4 years (more or not) from anyone running on the 2 major parties.
Well, I can just about guarantee your only choices will be BO (unless the dims wise up & run another candidate) or one of the Repubs. You may as well suck it up and vote for whichever one you believe will have the best influence on our country....no fence straddling allowed.
There is no objective line of reasoning to convince any open minded person that this nation would be better off with obama for another four more years. I am tired of my nation being USA for Under Saudi Arabia instead of USA for the United States of America. What better way to destory the strongest democracy the world has ever seen, what better way to destory the greatest military power ever then to destory its economy, its will to fight and its moral frabic that binded it all together.
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz as a write in... ... but we'll probably have to change the title from "President of the United States of America" to "King of New Saudi Arabia"...
I vote my conscience and what I believe. If I cannot support one of the 2 major party candidates for President, I will not vote for them in order to go along with the majority or to be a good party member or even to make sure the other guy doesn't get elected. If there is another choice I do agree with available, I will use my vote for them. I do not consider that 'fence straddling'. I consider that doing my duty as a citizen. Frankly, I find the kind of thinking that you propose to be disturbing. I don't think the intent of our Democracy is to 'suck it up' and vote for someone who you do not think will be good for this country. With thinking like yours, it is no wonder this nation is in the situation it is in.
