In the USA you can be "detained" for going to the restroom at the wrong time

Yep, the safest way to join the "mile-high club" nowadays is to climb a montain... and hope the FBI aren't up there too .

 

I never got that mile high thing. It is one thing if you on a private plane but of all the commerical planes I have been on I never was on one where I thought the plane bathroom was the place to be with someone else. Save it for the cab ride, thats what I always said.

 

There was another story recently about a woman who was detained after a flight and strip-searched. She was of mixed-race (Arab and something, I forget) and sat between two men she described as 'Indian' who were using the restroom in a suspicious manner. One was sick I guess.

She's not happy lol

 

God forbid...you might unplug the smoke detector accidentally in the frenzy, and you could be arrested.
