I was wrong! Apparently Obama has only had 61 days of vacation at the same point Bush had taken 180 days. That's approx 1/3 not half as much.

I assume this is the questioned post. And I will further assume that I need not explain your first quote. And, yes, I know the definition of assume.​

As for your second line, because you do not agree with the Republican proposed bills does not mean that they have never proposed them. Just to mention a couple, the Ryan budget, Cut, Cap, and Balance, and just about every Rep has requested Obama care be disbanded. However, every one of those has been blocked by the dips. (See, it works both ways.) So because you disagree with their proposals, you straight away it is attack the other party instead of been willing to accept that both are equally at fault.​

As for moen's quote, he did not like (or agree with) BO being attacked for taking vacation, so he tried to demonstrate that the Reps were worse. He straight away attacked the other party instead of been willing to accept that both are equally at fault.​

As soon as our confidence level increases we will. Right now we are too uncertain about what our expenses will look like in the months to come- will BO increase taxes? What's the real cost of Obamacare going to be? It would just be too irresponsible to act without knowing.

Actually, that is the number even Fox is bouncing around, except I really doubt that much of theit time is really "off". Out of the office does not equate to off the job.

 

I want proof, let's break out the attendance record.

Actually what I pointed out is that while the cons are taking cheap shots at Obama for taking a vacation, they have actually elected guys from their party that abused the vacation taking far more than the guy that they are currently criticizing. It's not that they are both at fault as much as the fact that the cons are a bunch of hypocrites.

 

Actually, I saw one of those BS-meter type reports which compared the "vacation" time of Bush & Obama. The vast majority of Bush's time away was spent at either Camp David or his Crawford, TX ranch....both were fully staffed & fully equipped to function as the President's office. BO, on the other hand, spent a lot of time at simple vacation spots where the same sort of functionality wasn't possible. I believe I saw this on either C-Span or CNN.
But, all that aside, I think we are all better off when BO spends as much time away from the job as possible. If you really cared about the country you would be encouraging BO to take as much vacation time as he can. In fact, I'd be willing to pony up some flyer miles & get him a ticket to Europe or any destination of his choice if one of you guys will pick up the hotel tab. Oh, that's a one-way ticket by the way.
