Do you actually know what empathy is? Given the three examples above, it dosen't seem that you are aquainted with the concept.

#1 Tom failed to make something of himself while you did. Empathy, not so much.
#2 Tom is both to blame for his own failures and also for the success of others. Again, empathy, hardly.
#3 Pity is directed at Tom for his own poor decisions and the way his life turned out and suggesting he can be comforted by moaning and blaming othes. Empathy, not even close.

I rest my case. Guilty as charged.

I could be wrong but it seems to me that he's going out of his way and making a real effort to phrase things in a way that you can grasp. That's evidence of empathy isn't it? Trying to reach people on their own level.

I seriously doubt I would have any 'empathy', sympathy or any other thy for anyone's economic situation on this forum (or anyone like anyone on this forum). While I would have 'empathy' for people who truly are destitute/hungry/homeless, etc - I don't waste any on people just because they don't have as much as someone else does. And if anyone on this forum truly was destitute/hungry/homeless, etc it would be hard for me to have empathy with them wasting their time on this forum.

Both De Orc and I have tried to get you to defend your statements but you run and hide like a little school girl. You never once provided an instance of a higher education person preying on naive students even after repeated posts asking for one. You run, hide, ignore, an cower endlessly. It seems to be contagious on the Right.

I figured out your kind out a long time ago. Anything that challenges your shallow worldview requires you to attack and gather as much peripheral support as you can from like-minded idiots. You have no support in the general population so you come to places like this to spew your nonsense.
