While you are technically correct this isn't really the way things work, now is it? Anytime a major initiative is being worked on in DC it is commonplace for all concerned to offer their plans, wishes, suggestions, etc. The fact that BO & Reid have said nothing publically in regard to this matter (except promising veto) is quite alarming to say the least. Now who is the party of NO these days?

I see a whole lot of Liberal talking points and very little truth in this post. Typical Moen tactic when he is losing. Next step is tumbleweeds.

To hell with compromise. Look where it has got us. Democrat congresses have driven up the debt for years. The left wing (socialist) have pushed borrowing more and more money year after year. Their zeal for borrowing money is only surpassed by their zeal to spend it. Compromise in the past congresses(hypo)…democrats want to borrow 2 Trillion……Rino’s cave and allow only 1.8 Trillion and call it a savings.

It’s refreshing to see the new House members holding their pledge to the American people. Two bills(written in essence by the American people) have been sent to the Senate. Reid’s plan hands Obama a $2 trillion checkbook instantly, and promises spending cuts down the road which will never come(ask Reagan), same old song and dance.

The American people have spoke…….CUT spending and REDUCE the debt……and if it leads to default then it lands squarely on Reid and Obama’s shoulders.
