Moen doesn't let little things like facts get in his way.

To go up against their current field of misfits? Anybody against their agenda would suffice.

Of course it was symbolic. That's part of the reason I tried to point it out. By the same token, curbing spending and taking helicopters to non essential things, like his kid's ball game, aren't exactly consistent with each other. I'd say it resembles hypocrisy to boot.

If he runs...he'll be the poster child for disconnected, hypocritical, blowhards that represent only themselves. It's possible that's a winning formula in today's corporately saturated, fat cat climate, but, I wouldn't want to bank on it.

That's the republican version of crapitalism, isn't it?

Don't you live in New Jersey? You should be thanking him for saving our State.

In this case, it is apparently the Democratic version of "crapitalism".

Saved it from what? Isn't he a republican? Republicans are a very bad thing to have happen to any community. You seem to like him though. Does he send a helicopter to the casino to pick you up or something?

Check the financial situation of New Jersey when he took office compared to now. I know Democrats like to just continue spending and blame it on the last guy, but when you wake up, you will see that Christie saved our state from the same economic ruin that is plaguing many other states across the nation.

And btw, Christie never shut down 10,000 private sector jobs due to a government budget dispute. But Corzine did!

HE saved it? That's why NJ is doing so well (according to you). That is what you believe. I thought entrepreneurs, big business, crapitalism and all that was responsible for all that is good? That must be why you give him a pass on personal helicopter trips at would be, taxpayers expense (if he hadn't gotten caught). Your kind can justify just about anything, can't you?

Every NJ Governor has used the helicopter in the past. If that is all you have to condemn him, you are grasping at straws. But NJ is fiscally stable, unlike many of the states in this country. You have Governor Christie to thank for that whether you like it or not.

So ONE person need only be elected to office to straighten everything out. That is encouraging news for sure. Following your line of thought, so long as we never elect anybody on the right as President, there can't be any chance of the same mess he stirred up ever happening again. Excellent!

He's a hypocrite right off the git go. Somebody else mentioned that he is a bully....HE IS. He's republican. Strike three.
Strange thing is I'm sure the right is waiting until the last possible minute to introduce the MAN they really want to run for POTUS. Oh no...not another Bush!

How is he a hypocrite? Because he used a helicopter that he is legally entitled to use. Moen called him a bully. The truth is that the woman attacked him and he put her in her place. That is not a bully. And given your recently divulged stance on alcohol, drugs, and gays, I hate to break it to ya, you are a Republican.

He's a hypocrite in that he takes the stance of those on the hypocritical right. We need to cut spending....but personal helicopter rides to my kid's ball game isn't on that list of cuts. Like the CEO's coming to Washington in their personal jets, whining they need more.

So you are mad that he didn't sell the helicopter?

I don't know that I'm mad exactly, but I don't want to hear his spin on cutting spending and arbitrarily affecting people's lives while he takes high cost, elitist, tax payer funded trips to his kids ball game. It's hypocritical at best. Maybe the helicopter should be stocked with fine champagne too (in case he doesn't have time to stop at the liquor store on the way to the ball game).
He needs to rejoin the corporate world of greed and self indulgence rather than public service.

Just like a Democrat to tell only half of the story. Please tell us where Christie went after his kids ball game!

Don't know. Don't care. I was talking about how he got there, and the hypocritical way he and his party demand cuts while enjoying excess.
