Republican voters are not satisfied with the candidates running for the Republican nomination and wish they had more choices, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

All that means is that 70% of Republican voters wish Chris Christie was running for President.

 

Next time I need a ride to my kids ball game, I'll grab a helicopter. I gotta remember to vote for that guy. Public office really does serve, doesn't it?

 

Or better yet, next time your wife wants to go shopping, you can hire a 747 and send her to London and Madrid.

 

I'd love to be able to afford that! Don't have the "public servant" salary for it though. :\

Christie is nothing but a big fat bully. When Obama talks tough, he is lecturing. When Christie bullies a mother concerned about her child's education, he is just straight talking. The double standard is palpable.

You don't even know the mother "concerned about her child's education" has any children let alone what her concerns are.

Let's see the other side. Obama talking tough........ Oh, yes. "congress has got to do something"? Uhhm, not really. Obama bows to Emperor Akihito? Uhhm, not really. Cameron declared that Kadafi must go, but Obama emphasized his belief that opposition forces should be the ones to remove him. Uhhm, not really. Anymore ideas?

 

I am not sure what you are asking. Since the pilot and crew got paid, the SS got paid, Boeing got paid, I assume it was before the fact, but what difference does it make?

 

My point is Christie would have never paid for anything had he not been caught. I'm not sure where you were headed. I meant that paying for it after the fact, as a result of being discovered, implies it's only unacceptable if you get caught. The next time I need cash, I'll just go to a bank and take it. If I get caught, I'll just pay it back and we'll forget about the whole thing.

 

Let's see, I'm not allowed to take this woman at her word and you are incapable of taking Obama at his word. That really works out nicely for you. I'll have to visit your private planet some day.

 

Unless you can find something to the contrary, Gail never said, she had children, she was a mother or, for that matter, it was even a female (but I will not argue that it was a she).

Using the helicopter is something that every governor has done in the past. The only reason you dipstick democrats have leeched on to this non issue is because Christie is curbing spending in New Jersey instead of spending like a drunken sailor. Please show us the New Jersey law that states that the Governor of New Jersey is not permitted to use the government helicopter for personal business. His decision to write a check was symbolic clown.

 

You can't criticize his record so you let the insults fly. I don't care what you call him. If he runs, you will be calling him POTUS, end of story.

 

Sorry, but this shopping trip was well documented, but will never be paid by anyone but the American taxpayers (unless you want to get technical and say it was mostly paid for by the Chinese with the money we borrowed from them).

 

Yes, I would assume that you can take Gail at her word (even though I believe she was a plant), but only for what she actually said and not what you imagined that she said. It look like those facts just got in you way again because she never said anything about her children, did she?
