Why would anyone want to disrupt playtime for those goofy ? Can those monkeys really comprehend foul language?
The original purpose for the unions has long since passed, now they simply serve as power centers & campaign money collections for the Dims.
While that may be true. The assurances that unions obtain for their members(seniority, holiday pay, etc. The worker's benefits that arent guaranteed by law) have a greater chance of disappearing from the workplace if the opprotunity or threat of joining one was eliminated. I'm not pro union but, I'm not anti union. I believe the choice should be one the workers make, while the employers should do their best to keep collective bargaining at bay.
The workers never get that choice. If they want to perform a union job, they must join the union and pay dues. It is legalized extortion, plain and simple.
If the workers are part of a unionization process, they do get a vote. However, they are limited in the information that they can be given. The management has very strict rules about what they are allowed to say to the employees while the union organizers can say anything they want. As a result, all they hear are false promises and none of the consequences.
This would really only apply if there were obvious animosity between employer and labor. I mean lets say it was learned that during negotiations, that the majority of workers wanted the union out, the company would most certainly demand that the employees be heard.
Agreed, but if there was not obvious animosity, why would the employees feel the need to unionize in the first place. And decertifying a union is a long an difficult process no matter how many members wanted the union out.
True. But there are some unions that can go hand in hand with employers. The PBA for one. Many patrolman disregard union policy in order to ''get along'' with management.
We should just leave all these kinds of pesky, union type, decisions to the profit takers. They'll work it all out for the employees, I'm sure. Profit is only taken once they employees are taken care of, right? I'll bet that if given the chance, nearly a penny out of every hundred bucks profit would go towards the suckers..I mean employees. Team effort all the way, I'm sure too.
