''Excellent, couldn't have picked a better president to lead us after 9-11.'' Did we have a choice?

I pretty much skipped the verbiage of the choices and voted on them 1-5 star scale.

My biggest problem with George W. Bush was his blind faith in his own policies. His refusal to ever re-evaluate and change course was catastrophic to the Republican party. I think he takes much more criticism for his foreign policy decisions than he deserves.

It was catastrophic for the country. Just about every economic indicator was worse when he left than it was when he started. Even before the huge stock market and housing crash, things were headed in the wrong direction. Median income was down. GDP growth poor. Deficits increasing. Poverty increasing.
