Sorry to interrupt this... amazing dialogue ...but "highest educated" doesn't always translate to "smartest"... No offense Moen! ...(laughs) As an example: Two of my son's friends will eventually become successful. One has a pretty high IQ, in the range of about 165 or so, and is currently studying in college. His problem is that everything comes easy for him, so he doesn't really apply himself much and just coasts along. He does have a very decent plan though and will do quite well for himself in a few years. He is the "smartest" of the two. The other is a pretty ordinary kid, with a slightly better than average IQ, but nowhere near genius level. Throughout his life he faced numerous learning difficulties and overcame them all. By the time he graduated he was on many of the science-teams that traveled around the U.S. for competitions (like in Robotics). He had studied HARD to get to that point, and is also currently in college. I'm pretty sure he'll eventually be the "most educated" one of the two, but he'll never match the other kids IQ.
Exactly!! All I meant was that I had the highest degree you can get. Something that is an objective fact. There are no academic degrees higher than mine. You could have one equal to mine but there is none higher. I didn't say that I was the smartest person here because that is a subjective statement. There is no way to measure that. But there are these nuts that have watched Fox for so long that all they know is how to twist your words. They are products of their learning process as I am a product of my learning process. All you can do is pity their feelings of inferiority.
ooooohhhhh...name calling? One would expect so much more from the (self professed) most highly educated member of this forum.
dr moen, I have craig on "ignore" so I can only imagine what foolishness he has been posting but it is good to see that you have a new lap dog to replace tomc
Yeah right. Man, youre only lying to yourself. You arent fooling anyone. You really do need to seek medical help.
You certainly are never far from his mind, that is very obvious. Kind of like a woman who just broke up with her boyfriend but can't stop talking about him. Obsession isn't just a perfume by Calvin Klein.
I'll say the same thing to you I said to Lehigh. The people who disagree with you aren't conspiring together as much as they are reaching the same conclusions about you based on what you yourself post. You try to push the blame off on us by saying we must be in league with each other when in fact, the reactions we have to you are completely independent of each other. You on the other hand, have rlm jumping in to answer questions people address to you as well as Lehigh doing the same thing. I realize this is a free form exchange of posts but craig, myself, and even tom never circle the wagons and nod like bobbleheads.
Maybe that is a difference between the left and right. The left believe that the only help available for individuals is the government while the right believe that we should help each other. Too bad you have present your entire side's believes because tc and liar do nothing better than get in your way.
Is that what doing are doing? Helping? The guy doesnt even realize he is lying. He's unaware of the difference between the truth and a lie. What dont you really help him by trying to get him some prfessional help.
Yep... and the reason I told Lehigh96 that I had "aligned" myself with you. By that, I meant I could see you were a reasonable person (unlike Lehigh96). Not that we won't disagree on points, we certainly will, but I doubted we'd ever get into a "flame-war" over it. (again, unlike Lehigh96 - lol)
My opinion of the differences between the Left (Democrats) and Right (Republicans) are that the Left attempts to help the poor, sick, and old while the Right says they should have to help themselves. This is an extreme generality though, as both sides care somewhat for all people's well-being, but the Left is far more open to the idea that we should take care of those who are incapable of helping themselves. IMO, the Right sounds selfish, and more than a little heartless, and are somewhat hypocritical (as in when they themselves need government assistance). That said, I think the Right has a better grasp on fiscal responsibility. I try hard not to bash either party though, instead I try to remain independent and look at the facts first before forming my opinion on them. But, overall, I'd have to say the Democrats have a better sense of our society's needs than the Republicans do.
