"The good news is that the economy added about 268,000 new jobs. The bad news is that 25 percent (62,000) were from McDonald’s." I don't think I've ever quoted the National Review before, but now I have. Were Obamacare Waivers Responsible for 25 percent of Private Sector Job Growth? - By Wesley J. Smith - The Corner - National Review Online
I don't know if this saying really applies here, but have you ever heard the story about a lawyer dying after getting run over by a car. One witness turns to another and says: "It's a start"...?
Then you may have heard this one: A mechanic working under a car dies when the lift fails and crushes him. He wakes up and finds himself 4th in line at the Gates to Heaven. In front of him is a Pope, Mother Teresa, and a lawyer. As the Pope enters he is given a rundown cabin in the woods to spend Eternity in. Mother Teresa steps through and receives a dilapidated shack on the outskirts of a major city. The lawyer steps through and Heaven itself greets him in all it's glory, trumpets sound, angels fly overhead shouting their praises. The lawyer is then carried in a parade to a mansion stretching further than the eye can see. Now it the mechanic's turn, but before he is assigned his Eternal home, he can't help but ask the Gatekeeper why the Pope & Mother Teresa were given such squalid homes while a lawyer was treated so well? The Gatekeeper turns to the mechanic and says, "We've had hundreds of Popes and Saints come through this Gate, but we've never had a lawyer."
