Here is my impression of the candidates.

    Ron Paul: Befuddled old man
Herman Cain: Future President of the United States
    Tim Pawlenty: Coherent and poised
Rick Santorum: The epitome of partisanship and the reason why Democrats hate Republicans. Basically embodies everything that is wrong with Washington.
    Gary Johnson: Scared

I think cain should name is campaign, BACK IN BLACK 2012. He has my vote at this early stage in the race.

My only concern with Cain would be his health, Pawlenty certainly has very good qualifications (Having been a governor) but there again so does Johnson Santorum I have a problem with on princable and well Ron Paul is simply Ron Paul LOL

What was it that gave you the scared impression from Johnson?

Part of it may be his speaking style. It seems slow and fragmented to me. But his body language was definitely someone who was uncomfortable. Pawlenty had good body language, and Cain seemed like he was made for that stage. Santorum had a shi* eating grin on his face every time they were asking him a question. Can't believe that clown is from PA, gives my home state a bad name.

The program was aired on FOXNEWS. You might want to check their website. I watched it on TV so I don't know what is actually on the website. It was a good debate and the no shows better get their stuff together. The primary voters were incensed at the no shows, particularly Romney.

Pawlenty & Santorum were the most impressive. Ron Paul was, well...Ron Paul. Cain & Johnson were just kind of there. Johnson, who I don't know much about, sounded too soft on some issues & Cain was less than knowledgeable and struck me as someone trying to bluff his way through a couple of the questions.

Thanks for watching for me. The GOP seems to think that they can throw a non-white, non-caucasion, non-northern european males up as candidates to try and mirror what the Dems are doing as if they can fool people into thinking they are inclusive of minorities and women or maybe even gays.

    For example:
Hillary Clinton is equal to Sarah Palin
Barack Obama is equal to Michael Steele
I can't wait to see who the GOP puts up as the Republican gay candidate. My guess would have to be Glenn Beck.

Thanks for bringing race and minorities into the conversation. I am glad to see you are so concerned.

BTW, Hilary does not hold a candle next to Sarah. I will not even comment on BO.

Thanks for the laugh of the day. Palin's an idiot while Clinton could run circles around any GOP female out there. Palin doesn't even measure up to Bachmann who is also dumb as a stone.

You sure are obsessed with the race issue, aren't you? Here is just a sampling of your epithets. BTW, in every case, you were the one bringing up the topic.

I play poker, he wasn't bluffing at any time. His answers sounded strange because he is not a politician.

I though he sounded unprepared and unsure of himself.

I didn't get to see debate but I have been listening to Cain for a few years and like what he says. A non-politician is just what this country needs. Lets start at the local and state level and elect some real people for a change.

Don't all politicians start this way jth? They sound great and may actually have good intentions until they're surrounded by politicians.

I read the directions on a Campbell's Soup can too. I've also been called lots of things in this forum. I just consider the source and move on. You might be coming to the conclusion that I find your posts among the more boring in the entire forum. I think to say that I skim them would be an overstatement. You're like that kid back in school that would do anything for attention but the more attention he got the more people realized what a douche he really was. In other words, calling attention to yourself isn't all that good of a strategy. I just thought you should know.
