The "official" version of events at bin Ladens compound keeps changing but according the Leon Panetta BO wasn't watching the events as they unfolded as BO had claimed. Osama bin Laden dead: Blackout during raid on bin Laden compound - Telegraph Wonder what they were doing in the photo? I also understand that BO took 16 hours to make a decision on what to do about bin Laden after he was presented with the intel that he had been located. Talk about your dithering....
It is realy geting to you isnt it David LOL last time you said he was cowering, now he never actualy watched it and he took his time dithering LOL What would you have done David sent the marines in all guns blazing and to hell with casulties? (even if they might have been American lives) Bombed the entire city (just to make sure you got him?) Nuked the compound LOL Sorry but your hatred is showing again it realy is
What are you talking about? The intel presented to BO said there was a 99.9% bin Laden was in that compound & BO took 16 hours to decide whether to act on it or not. Not 16 hours to plan the assault, 16 hrs to decide whether or not to act. Our Special Ops guys are always ready, always prepared.
What's the matter David, they didn't kill bin Laden right? Or, is it that you doubt they really killed him at all?
The dithering was advisors contemplating whether or not this would would be a good political move or not. BTW did you catch Hillary’s explanation for her expression in the photo----“Seasonal allergies”.
LOL go ahead and rant you still hate the guy so he took his time and did not make a hasty decision big deal so what get over it LOL And no they are not allways ready they have to get into position, make sure they have the right equipment and the right personel for that assignment It is not a simple case of the Prseident or Genrals saying ok guys he is at so and so address of you go and get him
I wouldn't care if the dithering was him playing hoops for sixteen hours straight, bin Laden is dead. He is as dead as he would have been sixteen hours earlier, or sixteen hours later. Dead. Dead. Dead.
It really drives you insane that our president is so competent doesn't it? Bottom line...Bin Laden is dead. You have to give credit where credit is due or you just come off sounding like a sore loser. Guess what? You do come off sounding like a pathetic whiny little sore loser.
I had a lol moment myself over this one Clinton: allergy, not anguish in my bin Laden photo | Reuters
Another lol moment. Credit! Then lets give credit where its due. 25%-CIA- for gathering the intelligence (through waterboarding) 10%-Bush- for putting the plan in motion which ultimately led to the death of UBL. 5%-Obama- for sticking with the Bush plan and carrying it out even though it went against ever thing he believed in(waterbording, gitmo, offending muslims, etc.) 60%-Navy Seals- for doing the job that only they could do.
Your close Peter. Seems that Obama was planning attack while filling out this NCAA brackets. You can't make this stuff up. Obama Planned Bin Laden Mission In Midst Of Filling Out NCAA Bracket | SportsGrid
I was about to say something similar, that you need to make sure everything is in place. It took about two months to get all the assets in place the last two times we went into Iraq... I don't see 16 hours as too long to make sure everything is in order, since the intel probably said he LIVES there, and wasn't likely to be leaving.
Haha, that's awesome. You're not going to get many people who will fault a guy for being able to multitask like that.
I think the intel as to saying he lives there was known as early as August 2010. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Remember? David is the guy who would grab a gun if he heard a noise. That was the answer he gave when asked "Who would you call?''. And how do you know spec.ops. is ALWAYS ready? Were you in Special Ops? Isnt ''always prepared'' the motto for the Boy Scouts and not covert military operations? You been watching too many Chuck Norris movies, sir.
Really interesting percentages you randomly applied to this situation considering Bush's own words on the matter. “I don’t know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don’t care. It’s not that important. It’s not our priority.” – George W. Bush, 3/13/02 “I am truly not that concerned about him.” – George W. Bush, responding to a question about bin Laden’s whereabouts, 3/13/02
