Do you have road rage? I try not to show it but everyone once in a while it pokes through. I can not stand it when someone pulls out in front of me and then drives super slow. I hate it when someone is riding my bumper. Drives me nuts. Do you get the rage?

Have you ever been with someone who has had it?

Not really although there are certainly a lot of bad drivers out there.

I may cause some road rage as I tend to drive just around the speed limit. If you come up behind me and start riding my bumper and flashing your lights because I'm not exceeding the speed limit enough I'll probably slow down.

I didn't used to have road rage when I lived in an area where I drove on major highways. In those days, my policy was to simply leave all trouble behind me, far behind me. A fast car was all I needed. Now that I live in the same city that I work, most of my driving is done on surface streets with 25-35mph speed limits and my previous strategy is useless. Thankfully, the ride is short or maybe I would have succumbed to the rage by now.

I don't get angry when driving much at all. Sure, everyone gets irritated from time it time at a dangerous driver or has their adrenalin kick in when someone almost smashes into you. That is a pretty natural reaction. But, generally, I think that people who seem to have a lot of 'Road Rage' probably have a lot of other rage too. ;)

Down here, too often red lights seem to be optional and stop signs invisible.

The only experience I have with it was back in the early 80's I was helping a friend move home and he had a collection of antique fierarms LOL we were driving across clapham common when a guy cut us up very badly, my friend hooted and gestured (2 fingers) the other driver pulled up sharply and stormed out of his car (a realy big guy) he got close enough to look into the car and seen me sat in the front passenger seat with a German schmeiser sub machine gun and a sten gun in my lap and a thompson beside me and for some reason threw up his arms in horror and ran like hell :))

Thats seems a bit provoking. Wouldnt it be easier to pull to the right rather than irritate an inflamed situation? I mean the guy behind you could be a real nut. I mean it could be me!!!

I live for danger Craig. LOL
Besides I don't slow to below the speed limit. I slow down TO it.
If someone feels inclined to shoot me through the head for that so be it. They STILL have to get around me.

    PS

I love when these idiots blow by me so I can catch them at the next stop light.

I can understand that. I hate it when people do that. I just slow down so they get even madder. Not helping them but it brings pleasure to me.

I live 2 blocks from work, so I dont drive often, every other week to the bank and grocerys.
I drive to Los Angeles 5-6 times a year.......driving in LA is crazy, but im used to it. No road rage here, I just turn the music up louder :)

Yeah see that is the problem. These days you just never know who will be behind you. It could be someone that would shoot or kill you or do something along those lines.
