President Reagan believed fifty years ago that a nation could be attacked through medical care. The socialization of medicine lets the government into all areas of your being. Once this starts everything can be determined a medical need or not. All of the human organism would be at the mercy of a socialized government. Kennedy and Reagan both took little from the Soviets. Kennedy did a lot in a short amount of time . No telling where it would have gone. Reagan had eight years to get into more of what was going on .
I was joking dude. The right used to say Reagan was "too liberal". Now he's revered (frankly because they don't have anybody else in recent history to admire). The right can't stand that Kennedy was on the left, so they now claim "he was really a rightie". Reagan had 8 more years. If he were anything like Kennedy, (and if the right would have let JFK live long enough), 8 years, the world could have been a much better place. Instead, he gave us George and dimwit Jr, bailouts, and economic termoil that is now about to overtake us all. (All that, AND Sarah Palin too!). Oh happy day.

Could you possibly speak in MORE general terms and give these words even less real meaning? Probably not. Let me give you a little logic and history. The VA is Socialized Medicine. Medicare is Socialized Medicine. Congress receives Socialized Medicine. If it is good enough for all those groups, why do I or you for that matter have to put up with being forced into a for-profit system that is less efficient than any of the above, less comprehensive in coverage, and has insurance executives making medical decisions based on their shareholders desires for more profit? Several past presidents both Republicans and Democrats have warned us about the overreach of the economic elitists and their ability to destabilize our economy. Even with the most recent examples of this warning coming to fruition, the history seems lost on you and your ilk. Maybe history isn't your forte and logic is way beyond your scope.
