    Corruption is the key to corporate success. It isn't surprising to find that people who are fairly wealthy are happy with the current system. Accountability and corruption don't go hand in hand very well. The "he did it too" mentality running rampid once again. Gee...where have I seen this reaction before??? Hmmm..

    Rarely in any of these cases is the tax part ever prosecuted especially with people in high positions. I'm sure it wasn't the tax Thomas was trying to skirt in the first place anyway. It was the reporting of the income from a partisan organization that would have the potential for Thomas to have to recuse himself from cases that he wanted to rule on. It's not the money at issue here like it would be for you or I, it is ethics of deciding cases when you benefit financially from the people supporting one side of a decision. Apparently the Right wing rubes in this forum can't quite grasp that. The upside is that future Supreme Courts can revisit this issue due to this tainted decision.
