The good news is that I heard that they found a donor match already. The bad news is that the donor is Satan.

I am glad to see how the libs here have shown their true colors. They bitch and gritch about Sarah using cross hairs. They say that is too violent. They say only right uses too much violence. Yet here they are wishing the harm to their opponent. I wonder what they would have said had we wished Giffords to die.

Really and honestly, I believe there are 2 people here who owe apologies - BIG TIME!

I see no one here wishing him harm. Maybe you could point that out for me.

Did you read that on the 'net? I'd like a link to that article, if possible. It's always uplifting to read about someone who is an organ donor. Thanks!

Those remarks are 10 times what you are trying to make out of "cross hairs" and "blood libel". If you can read English, they do not even constitute veiled threats. They are open and blatant threats.

I think you're reaching just a bit on this one. Tom's comment simply states that he "can't in good conscience" wish him the best. How you can construe that as a "threat", I can't figure. Sounds like he is simply neutral on the subject. I simply made a joke about an imaginary character donating an organ. How is that a threat?

Let me guess, reading comprehension wasn't your specialty in school? More false equivalency from the Right-Wingers. The playing the victim is sort of cute too. You guys never fail to entertain.

No threat was made it realy is that simple the worst you could say is the joke was in bad taste and as for Tom's remark that is his perogative as far as I am aware there is no law that requiers one to wish some other person all the best?

Sorry Scotty! The only place on the web you'll find that is right here. I just made that joke up on the spot. Funny, wasn't it? Have a sense of humor. :)

Oh, you were joking when you said that you'd heard a donor had been found? Really, Moen? A JOKE?!?!? I think you should be ashamed of yourself. It's mean-spirited to joke about organ donation and the selfless sacrifices of those who give (literally) of themselves.

If you'd like to learn more about organ donation, the Dept. of Health and Human Services runs a website:

    OrganDonor.gov

Also, here's a story about Christina-Taylor Green (the little girl who was killed in Tucson) who was an organ donor and whose corneas saved the eyesight of two other children.

It is very easy to construe your (and Tom's) comments as threats, but I still cannot follow your logic that construes the use of "cross hairs" and "blood libel" (but not bulls eyes) as violence.

And then you add the usual insults as soon as you see you are losing. Are those the best arguments you can come up with?

BTW, how about adding these to you non-violent liberal comments:
"The Republican V.P. nom would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan"
"Gabrielle Giffords’ blood is on Sarah Palin’s hands"

Once again no threats were made and I am unsure how they could even be construed as such? But Perhaps you would care to enlighten me and if they are threats I will of course remove them

It's comments like those from Dr Moen & Moen, Jr (influenced by the left wing media-types like Olberman) that have caused the dangerous incivility & unrest that we are seeing today.

I expected better from you. And, BTW, please do not remove the "threats". They are absolute proof of the two-faced thinking of the liberals.

Your comments earlier was that people must own the consequences of their speech and in the contents that the use of the term "cross hairs" bore such consequences. Now, one states "I can't in good conscience do that [wish him well]". If he is not wishing him well, he is therefore wishing him _______. You fill in the blank so it is not a threat. The other wants Cheney to get the heart of Satan. Please explain to me how that is not wishing him ill. If putting cross hairs on a race where the right wishes to win constitutes violence and bears consequences to the other side, I have no idea how you can even begin to say the both of these statements are not way over the top and their speakers should also be responsible for their consequences.

This going to be another one of those never answered posts replete with dodge after dodge. Oh goodie!

Again, anything that could be construed as a threat on this planet? Your planet, well, who knows what passes for threats there.
